Thales(3.75) Overview Video & Information

I'd rather not walk around the map for 30 minutes looking for players to engage in RP with only to find nothing. Like our previous 3 maps.

Have you tried speaking to people in the many skype groups you are apart of to see about setting up a role playing session? I don't know about you though this has worked many times with me in the past and I have been doing it such now. Though even that I live in Australia and not nocturnal (Woke up early cannot re-sleep so this doesn't count), when I get on the server I can find people in under five minutes and try to engage on the role play. If not- I see who is on skype and do the first method.

My only big concern is the regulation building. If people don't have an RP reason to make a settlement, don't even try. We end up with many abandoned towns and villages scattered all over, and horrible griefing, just like in the Fringe.

You almost forgot something. If the town is left without people regulating it for a IRL week (I think this was the time) the glowing town block beacon thing will dis-activate and maybe destroy itself. Yes you might have wooden or stone buildings of towns. It will be unprotected. Maybe a change of the raid rules can compensate for this as you might be able to /picklock/ in these circumstances or something.

That does not come into account of the materials and the time it takes to craft said town block, it won't be instant.

Hm...do we have a donators listing to see what we entail on such plugins? Or is that not mapped out yet?

Will the skills plugin be like it was in 2.0, where it was the same level of skill no matter what character you're on? I.E your Dwarf may be good at Stonemasonary, but your Elf may be a farmer, but because your Dwarf has the skills, you can't switch the skills? Am I making sense?

To all those whining about 3.75 professions not carrying over to 4.0- I think of this as a stress test for the plugins. Also- ther are bound to be game-breaking bugs or loopholes that need to be fixed that give a unfair advantage. This sort of thing will only be noticeable when you have a lot of people using the plug in and the economy starts up and everything.

This is my assumption at least.

And anyway- Every map has had a clean start from what I know.

Suck it up. Either play or don't play, no need to make drama about it on the forum that turns off new players.

I sure hope people didn't get mad about my posts, I wasn't being hateful just stating my opinion lol.

I doubt anybody gets overly angry.

I tested this plugin when the crafting plug'in when they first made that beta for it and I have one concern. At first it was cool, original, innovative and fun to play with, but I feel like it will get quickly annoying to use. I remember in the beta, you had to create hinges before creating a door, which is cool and all, but after a while, I don't want to be sitting there for 10mins trying to make doors for a large build. It's a cool plugin, but I think its gonna get annoying fast (I hope they change the 1hr per armor piece),

Can't please everyone, some want realism and for it to take time to do things, others want ease, and quick stuff.
