Not that I'm accusing him of breaking a rule or anything (I'll leave determining that to someone else), but to be clear: All "hacks" in minecraft are mods.

To continue with this mod means modification. And anything that you add/modify to your minecraft jar is considered a mod. So all hacked clients are considered modded clients.

The ToggleSneak mod features both ToggleSprint and ToggleSneak. It was created by a player from another server I play. I personally gave Chuck the mod. How you can also tell Chuck is not hacking is because he is using Forge. Minimap + Directions are part of Forge.

basically in 1.6, mojang added better sprint so that you can press ctrl whilst holding down w to keep sprinting, even when you hit someone you don't need to retap w, you just keep sprinting.

 

this mod just stops me from having to hold ctrl and instead I just hold w to sprint. Everything else is exactly the same and HCF allows this (note, this is the ONLY sprint mod that HCF actually allow) which is a big PvP server, so if it did give an advantage to player using it, they wouldn't allow it.

The mod gives no advantage. All it does is allow you to press a button once instead of holding it down.

Edit: scratch that, no hacks were used. Chuck is in the clear. He's only using an HcF mod for better sprint and minimap mods which require forge. He didn't do anything wrong.

In the video he attacks while down which is the signature sign of forcefield hacks. Unless there's a viable alternate explanation for this the GM's verdict is understandable.

This situation aside, anyone actually using Forcefield on this server is a complete moron given how obvious it is as soon as you die.
