DWEDMAR OF URGUAN!

Late in the afternoon today, a large barbarian hoard numbering some 300 strong attacked the Dwedmar Fortress city of Kal'Klad. After a brief skirmish at Raine Academy, the blood thirsty savages made their way to Kal'Klad where they were met by a small regiment of dwarven militia and crossbowmen, numbering some 30 or so as well as some unarmed dwarven farmers.

After a brief exchange of arrows and bolts, 30 of the barbarians lay dead on the field. At this point the defenders where joined by a small patrol of Orcish allies, numbering no more than 40. At this point the defenders sallied and met the savages in open field, cutting down those that were in the nearby crop field, pillaging.

The barbaric forces, in disarray in the main field, were joined by more of their allies that had been attempting to access the city from above the mountain. The Dwarven militia and the Orcish patrols struck them down as they came and the barbarian hoard, now scattered and helpless, were easily destroyed with only a precious few escaping with their lives.

After searching through the slain, it was discovered that these specific barbarians were wearing the flayed skins of many strelts and were not infact affiliated what so ever with Oren, its vassals, or its allies.

SO REMEMBER CITIZENS!

BE CAUTIOUS OF THESE MARAUDING BANDITS WHO WEAR THE FLAYED SKINS OF STRELTS!

Mikael groans as Urguan once again valiantly takes the side of indefensible yet belligerent and mismanaged settlements. He thought they had learned from the almighty piece of work that was Atgaard, but alas.

Zahrer believes that the dwarves were in fact defending their own capital and the poster only mentions where said barbarians had raided beforehand.
