The following is a written version of Grunmin Starbreaker's manifesto.

  • The "Articles of Urguan" being put under the scope as to be changed appropriately concerning and regarding the citizens of the kingdom as well as the Thane's power, and the King's power.

  • Increasing the power that the King has, as well as decreasing the power that a Thane has. Returning back to a day of which the kingdom was much more fruitful and active.

  • Thane's hold their seat of Thaneship for no longer than two stone months, in which the clan is to vote in another member as Thane.

  • The King can only be removed at a 75% or more vote, amongst the populace.

  • Mandatory Thane's meetings every seven stone days, all of which are open forum. (The mandatory meetings being open forum, called meetings may be private depending on the matter at hand.)

  • The tax system also being put under the scope for changes that fit both the earnings and the population of the kingdom.

  • Work being put in order for the much needed unification of the Dwarven people.

  • Kal'Agnar's architecture being contemplated for a change, as to please the populace.

  • Bringing the Bathmordikin's teachings, ideals and respects back into the daily lives of all Dwarfs.

  • Upon election, there will be an immediate open forum for the populace to raise concerns and these concerns will be the first of many, which shall be attended to.

I, Grunmin Starbreaker to solemnly swear to the Brathmordakin, my kin and the entire populace, that if elected I shall lead you the Kingdom towards a never-ending Diamond-Age!

Signed, Grunmin Starbreaker.

I would like to note, on an OOC level, yes I am Australian but I do online college courses and am more than willing to change my sleeping pattern so that I can easily be online for the populace!

King should respect the clans and their members. A smart king would keep enough clans happy to stay in power.

"I'll have a nice long conversation with them, get their stand points and their reasons. I have no secret promise to no one, as secrets will be found out and will not help the kingdom in the long run.

I never said remove their power, I said to lessen their power.

Again, I never said to remove their power but the plan would be to return to a state where the King was a King. The Thane's remain able to veto a decision, but returning the Grand King... To, well a King again would be nice."

"In te' language Grand King 'es attualleh 'ah translation 'ah 'igh Lord."

"Ye' wee discussion, ye' care te' detail if they actualleh agreed te' losin' te' clan 'old n' reunitin' to te' capital?"

"And frankly ye' bein' pedantic on ye' response. Ye' just said then ye' want full authoriteh over ye' own decisions without anythin' but 'ah Veto. Ye' wish 'ah tyrants rule where ye' can make ye'self unnacountable to te' council and increadileh 'ard te' remove!"

"Your manifesto come as follows, you want a super majority of 75% in referendum for removal, which is beyond stupid, and then full legislative and executive authority. Ye' sound like 'ah power 'ungreh fool. Ah know ye' don't know te' articles because ye' nay read te' part where you can just replace thanes."

"WHICH REMINDS MEH."

"Ye yet again are tryin' te' decrease thane powah. Ye' wish te' remove their legislative role completely and then ye' 'ave te' pass this through the thanes, with 'ah result currently lookin' closer to 33% than 75% you demand to be removed."

"But atleast ye' show te' truth now. Ye' want to give yourself supreme and complete authoirty. Grunmin Starbreaker everyone!"

"Apologies for the misinterpretation of the word.

I have yet to have a discussion with anyone, considering the current state of affairs, I was advised that it is most unwise to speak with the other contenders for the crown.

No, I do not want full authority. I believe you are misinterpreting what I wrote as I misinterpreted the word 'Grand' but I do not hold it against you. I was simply explaining that the Thane's still hold the power to veto my decisions, regardless of how powerful I may seem to be. I am always, and shall always be, accountable to both the council and the populace.

Yes, 75% or more of the populace for removal which is less than what it is now. Currently four of the five thanes must vote for it, which is 80% and I am just moving it towards the populace, instead of the Thanes.

Decreasing their power, does not remove them completely.

No, I do not want to give myself supreme and complete authority. These were ideas and aims that I believed the populace would want, nothing for my personal gain. I am a little upset that responses are involving insults and attempting to belittle me, but I cannot be surprised as the suggestions I have put up there do seem quite rash and extreme.

A tyrant is not someone with the power, but someone who uses the power tyrannically. Having the power, does not mean that the person with said power is a tyrant. That being said, I do appreciate the feedback and am now taking steps as to change my Manifesto.

I truly appreciate all the passion you have put into your questions, and the scrutiny that you've put this under. In the end, it will assist me and in turn, the Kingdom.

Thank you."
