Personality: Manstein is incredibly dedicated to his work. He spends time doing little else. He is something of a coward. His dedication can cause him to be isolated, having little else to talk about. This would make him a great friend with an intellectual person who reads and produces literature, but less so with others, whom he usually gets along with, but they often find him boring. He does not like action or adrenaline. He generally keeps his word, but, if his own life or serious injury is threatened, he is willing to go back on his word. He tends to think himself above the rabble, despite only being in a middle class background, and a mere servant to a household. He used to be rather discreet about his heritage from the duchy of Hanseti, but he's become something of a nationalist lately.

Parents: Erich Buhr Von Manstein-His disciplinarian and harsh father caused him to have an unhappy childhood. He does not know whether his father is still alive or not. 

 

Anna Buhr Von Manstein-His mother was a caring person, who protected Manstein and his siblings. 

Siblings: Anna Buhr (later Anna Adler) Von Manstein- His sister, also disowned by Erich, she was a soft-hearted character who, like he did, loved books, literature and others. She set up very successful business outside of Wanderfell, allowing Adolf to get the education he wanted.
