A Letter Sealed In Wax

*As the letter is given to Prince Paul, he would open it at his leisure, breaking the wax upon the seal to find a letter written as though it was done at a local Inn... that assumption would be correct.*

"12th of Snow's Maiden, 1482

To the Leader of the Armed Forces of Petrus and Oren

I write this letter in disdain of recent events that has transpired within the city. One of your men, a man I did not catch the name of, but seem to wear the attire fitting that of a knight executed an Iblees Worshipper in the square of Oren this very day.

Now, this may sound strange yes. That I would be writing about something such as this, Iblees worship is treason not only to the people of your Kingdom, but any Kingdom that lies in the light of the Creator. It was the fact that despite my protests to capture the Kharajr alive at the very least, and the complete and utter disregard of this that is why I send this letter.

I don't claim to hold say here, I do however hold claim to a bit of wisdom.

We know so little about the current Undead, so little about the networks and chains to which could be cults operating in your very city. So when an opportunity to capture and interrogate one comes about we should be taking every step to capture and find out as much as we can about these creatures that seek not only the destruction of this Kingdom but all Kingdoms. No piece of information is too small. Yet an opportunity such as this has been squandered this very day.

Steps should be put in place to rectify this fact in the coming future. Mistakes such as this may bare more costly and foul fruits in the times to come if things like this are allowed to continue happening.

Sincere and Greatest Regards

Blundermore WindRaker."

*The Scroll would end here with a small symbol of a cartwheel with six different colours upon it.*

Paul has a moments break from the constant commotion of his office, reading the letter. He nods once finished, penning a reply.

"To the Mage,

 Blundermoore WindRaker

Thank you for taking the time to write me a letter. I take your words to heart, as the issue with the Iblees cults is a serious issue I intend to correct. However, you must understand my soldiers willingness to kill the undead, foul creatures seek to destroy all that is holy.

Your insight has made me question our motives and direction to the Dark Lord himself, and I humbly request you come by my office so we make discuss this topic further.

Until then,

Prince Paul Carrion."

Daem scratches the back of his head, having accidently given a letter to prince Paul that was probably directed to the King rather then him, "I'm sure it wont matter in the long run." He thinks to himself

Having somehow read this letter, Lucas laughs and says "Wow The Ascended are behind me. I know ridiculous amounts about all this."

To the esteemed heretic Blundermore, whom was thrice expelled from the Empire of Oren for heresy and attempting to undermine the rule of Godfrey I and Horen V,

I was, in fact, the knight who had killed the worshiper. I have a few, if not many words for you.

You speak of wisdom and how that we should capture them and interrogate them. How do you propose we capture cultists and worshipers who kill themselves when captured, or somehow summon their comrades to preform near impossible feats to spay their captured comrade? I do recall the Ascended and the Aeriel-worshipping cult that surrounds them causing the death of not one, but three cultists by demanding the capturing party, reputable knights, hand them over and threatened their false god Aeriel's wrath upon them.

One can not seriously expect your word to be taken seriously when you openly defied imperial law concerning magic, in the very halls where the Emperor Godfrey set forth his decree. You attempted to fill the imperial halls with former Ascended, who acted for naught and caused the destruction of Aegis, and usurp the Emperor Godfrey.

You are upset you didn't get the glory is all, and you think your kind is the only one capable of interrogating and capturing these cultists, when it is entirely likely they are independent or know nothing. You are useless and get in the way. What might stray from my point, yet I must ask all the same, how does a human live over three hundred years anyhow? Are you another witch such as the Witch-Queen Dawn Perea?

With warm regards,
Corbett van Cleef

Locked, soon to be archived but I would like to take the time to heavily advise that people start utilizing the Private Messaging system provided on the forums if you intend your 'Letter' to be for a sole person, or simply send it in-game through a book or something of the sorts. This way it would avoid people being upset over information being metagamed, as well as needless threads that are for the sole purpose of one on one communication.
