What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: -  2samspan

How old are you?: - 14

Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Yes, on multiple. The one I sunk the most time into was Tales of Camelot.

Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - I don’t believe so, no.

 

How did you hear about us?: - Multiple friends are on the server.

What do you think the server will be like? - Large and vast, full of opportunities for those who know how to use the tools given.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: -  Yes and yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - Keep with the server’s lore.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- I understand the rules of combat. However, I did not see any rules involving villains. I can assume that you cannot rape or be involved in pedophilia, given the other rules.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- As said above, I did not see anything involving villainy. I most likely missed it, but if I did could you please point it out for me?

 

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of pretending to be another character, most likely of your own creation or scenario, and acting it out as if it were them and doing what they would do.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is taking information you learn outside the game or something your character would not possibly know (i.e. the barkeep three towns over puts belly button lint in his ale) and using it in role-play.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is the act of doing something your character could not possibly do and/or overpowering another person without giving them a chance to respond. A petite 12 year old elf cannot bash the skull of an olog clan leader with her bare fist, and the olog cannot simply stop the elf from attempting to with absolute certainty by saying ‘I grab your fist.’

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Orc, Goblin

 

What gender are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 31

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Mrakal was born, like most Orcs from Anthos, in San’Orka. His childhood was typical of a Goblin. His father worked on creating war machines, specifically those involving the throwing of sharp objects. When he was 8, his family was moved from Anthos to the Fringe, along with everyone else. In the Fringe, his father moved onto the battlefield, moving his craft of war machines and making them on active battlefields. The last time he saw his father was two months after he was enlisted. 

When he was 12, he was in the communal lab, tinkering with the assorted objects in there when something struck him. Is he deciding to do what he is doing, or was it decided that he would do this by the spirits? This thought has become his ambition, taking up most of his life. He has spent most of his time in his workshop trying to find an answer to this, to find out whether or not destiny does exist. He would pour over history books, trying to find whatever references to destiny he could in them. He would tinker with objects, trying to see if he could find a way to read your destiny, if it existed. But alas, he could not.

As time went on, his interest in it began to wane. But it is still there. It is no longer the compulsion it once was, but he is still determined. He wants to understand the world, and why it happens. By the time that he moved to Athera, that interest has been rekindled due to all of the realm traveling he has done. He is prepared to do what it takes to finally find an answer to what he has wondered his whole life.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Mrakal can be ruthless at times, like all Orcs. He is also very determined, prepared to go days without rest if it means he will complete an important task. Likewise, he does not react well to being proven wrong. 

 

What are their ambitions?: - To find out whether or not destiny exists, and if it does, can it be changed.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  Pros: Can read, highly intelligent, good with hands.

Cons: Dislikes being wrong, constantly thinks things are more complicated than they actually are. 

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Mrakal is 6’3. No tusks. Dark green skin, almost like a crocodile. Typically wears a loose, coarse leather shirt with no sleeves and leather pants. Bald. Little muscle tone, even compared to other goblins.
