Of Carrions And Disability

Lo... when those bullied get to the pinnacle of power, they too wield the cudgel tyrannically. Such is the fate of the abused son when he becomes the father!

Beyazid Bistami exclaimed within the Viridian Pub.

I'd really appreciate it if you didn't use the word mentally disabled. Personally having a brother in real life who is mentally disabled, I find this extremely offensive and I know that this post is more an ooc bash than an rp, so I will not accept a 'this is rp' excuse. Use the word lame or daft please, rather than something that is an extreme and horrible boon on real life society than many people suffer. I also suggest that you think about what it is you are typing with your fingers before you actually post it, as you obviously do not know or understand who this might offend.

Groaning, a man steps between the Monk and Frederick as they supposedly speak within the same room, "Frederick, why do you emulate the behaviors of those you condemn with such a declaration? This is incredibly idiotic and inflammatory. A force that demands universal alignment stands at our borders and we're going cock-eyed with internal strife on all fronts." Turning to the monk, he extends arm, "You there, monk. Tell me something, why is there no public book of praise? Why do we hear nothing of attending mass? Why is the common man's knowledge of the faith nothing more than pathetic two to three word praise? Why do we never see you moving about the towns and preaching to the masses? Why are we only seeing your input during political issue in clear support of a single side when the church's purpose is divine neutrality and guidance of the human spirit and soul? Why do you allow yourselves to become political tool?"

Sergeant Einhart of Petrusia would usually jump at the chance to put down a filthy Crow, but this is far too hurtful to be honorable. Einhart dispatches the Runts to remove any sentiment of this mean-spirited letter from the streets of Petrus. He issues a statement in the church common hours to each and every citizen, civilian, or native that takes audience.

"Don't let the words of this wretched rascal represent the nature of humanity. The Hounds are taught  to respect, understand, and sympathize with the basic needs of all kinsmen regardless of affiliation. It's this code of teaching that we reflect every day in our hours of duty, so that we may kindle an image of positivity around the term humanity .We may be enemies some days Crow, but we're all human at the end of the day. I believe that the Crow peasants that once ruled had to have great inkling of brain power. How else would they construct an Empire? That is no easy feat. That said, down with Carrion filth! Long Live The Lord Godfrey III ! Meeting adjourned."

"Alas it appears humanity ist destined to banter amongst itself. Lies and tricks. Once people understand zhat ze one key to global peace is to merely IGNORE eachozher, maybe zhen vill zhere be a bonding auf brozhers once more.

Perhaps a good start to mend global relations vould merely be to shut ze f*** up."

"This is truthfully sad to watch, surely the men of the old Empire are rolling in their graves at this despicable display of nonsense. These... 'men' tossing insults at one another like six year old children that have yet to be taught manners."

The mysterious figure snorts in heavily, spitting onto the grass field next to him. The rest of his 'speech' filled with angry grumbling and incoherent babble.

"No, the Holy Palatinate issued the condemnation over the death of an Akovian official. The actual Church of the Canon will forever maintain utmost neutrality. Recently diplomats of the Holy See have felt that Aesterwalds hostile behavior has gotten the better of the Aesterwaldian state. In regards to activity, recruitment has been severely held up by unforeseen construction issues with the planned Abbey and headquarters for the Holy See. Ideally this would be used as a head of operations and as an official seminary to teach acolytes. When this Abbey becomes constructed we have a certain amount of planned releases. Such as a final and newly translated holy book that is in the works as I write this."

The letter is sealed with the coat of arms of the office of the Vice-Chancerly of the Holy See.

Kardel hears of this while visiting Estermeadow and scowls, shaking his head. If anything, the Carrions were twice the rulers that these new rebel-lords are. The common folk follow them, and not the Renatian scoundrels whom have reduced the population of Petrus significantly since Kardel's last visit.

He takes a deep breath and talks to his friend Will as they sip a cup of that warm Kharajyr stuff. "Ah'll never understand dem Umri. Feckin' always du sumefin ta rek demselves. Carrions were guud leaders, an' nou dese peices o' shite rule Oren. Dis neu King o' Renatus ain't ta be trusted. . .ah loiked Tuvya better. Durin' Tuvya's time, everyfin was noice an' quiet en me opinion. . .at least fer us Dwed o'er in Hiebenhall. Bah! Man will be 'is own ruin."

Father* Kristoff replies. "It is not my fault your parish priest doesn't mass. The Holy Scrolls are being translated into common,And I'm not a monk nor a political tool.I just don't understand why a man who thinks himself 'powerful' talks about how the carrions are power hungry."
