(Druids) A Night Of Restless Dreams...

((all attuned Druids share this dream, and the Archdruids are having more detailed and specific dreamings in addition to this one.))

Amongst your other dreams as you lay sleeping, one more vivid, more intense than the rest suddenly interjects itself...

Green, as far as the eye can see...endless green, seas of brown scattered through it, fields of wheat by appearances.  The scene is serene at first, vague shapes of familiar animals moving through the shifting colors.  Then....heat...searing heat....

On the horizon a blazing fire sweeps forth, quickly covering the land, black ash in its wake...then it is gone, green begins to spread once more, and soon the scene is as it was.  Your view shifts downwards, and you descend, through the ground and into a ruined cavern below, where a shining light blinds you...

And you awaken, left with vague images in your mind...

((More to come...~ feel free to post your reactions to the dream if you like, remember, only attuned Druids are having the dream))

The Sloth Druid, long absent from his brethren, awakens from what one can only assume was a long hibernation. At first he behaves at normal, but as details of the dream come back into his memory, he prepares for a journey, and returns to the Grove.

Taynuel's eyes flutter open and he stares at the ceiling for a long while, remaining still and silent. Slowly he sits up and looks over at the white hair slumbering on the velvet-lined crate near his bedside. He says nothing, only getting to his feet, throwing his cloak on, and heading outside toward his meditation alcove.

Lilliana clings to her staff as her eyes watch the changing landscape. As she falls, she jolts up in her bed, the leaves around her trembling as she looks up. She shivers and pants as she holds her chest. Tears roll down her cheeks as she curls around her knees, head against them. "No..." she whimpers.

Isabella jolts awake with a start and a gasp, looking around the room.

Ouity grumbles, pawing at her head, "Just another prophecy, it'll finish itself later. Go back to sleep, love."
Isabella rests her head back on his chest, sighing contentedly, "Alright."

Pebble falls out of bed in a shock as she's awoken by the bright light. She grumbles as she watches Jotham snore away, barely disturbed by the images, muttering, "..men. Could sleep through the end of the world, I swear."

Leyun woke with a start. She quickly got up and went to her desk, where she lit a couple candles and pulled out a clean sheet of paper. After what she had dreamed, she had to write it down before details could fade.

Somewhere in the distant south, Sunshine Druid Verden's dreams are filled with strange images and bad indigestion.

"I really need to get out of this desert heat sometime."

Veren snores peacefully as the dream hits him, practically leaping out of bed. He blinks, looking around, a bit confused and shocked. He slowly lays back down, laying there until morn.

Lillith's eyes open, her brow covered with a bit of sweat as she slowly sits up.  Her false eye whirrs as it adjusts to focus her sight, her good eye looking around her Office as she stumbles from the bed, grabbing a half-filled tome and beginning to write down the few details of the dream before she forgets them.

"Less vivid than the first one..." she mumbles absently, still half asleep.

Anarane wakes and stares at the ceiling for a moment, glancing over at the flask on her bed-side table.

She gently nudges the flask further away and goes back to sleep.
