I offer to volunteer, although I doubt I will be selected out of the many people volunteering. This is much more of an application...

Also a system like Ck2/eu4 where you need a legit casus beli and you need to have pre establiahed aliances before a call to arms so the whole server doesnt join over a fight for a tavern would be nice.

  While not wishing to volunteer myself, I support Sheumgal, Gaius, Stevie and ski_king's offers to volunteer; they all have experience in war claims which I believe is very valuable in this. Representatives from smaller groups could also be chosen, but I believe the GMs on the team are able to represent that side.

Everyone is calling for raiding, as a nonPVP player this pretty much sums up how I feel about it.

I chuckled. That aside, I wouldn't worry much about raiding, because if it does come back, it'll have more restrictions and whatnot otherwise you'll have one side of the server going ape **** and building walls, setting up lwc gates, et cetera.

You can't even ladder anymore so any 3 block high P.O.S wall will stop raiders as long as it can't be vaulted over

i volunteer as a tribute,

Im thinking raids, settlements, alot of rp build up such as building machines like catapults and buckets full of water ( defense side).

Also i think raids,but it should depend on whom they're raiding as small towns suffered quite alot from this, so maybe i dunno, jeesh now im arguing with myself  :livid:

Honestly I'd say just do what we did in Aegis, and let the nation leaders sort stuff out. Say there is one party who wants to go to battle against another party, aslong as there is agreement and sufficient numbers, I really don't think there would be a need to fill out a whole warclaim. If someone wants to bring the whole nations siege weapons and their armies of 6999142 men then they'd need to fill out a warclaim. Just use some common sense; warclaim if it is literally a war, internal organisation if its just a raid or something like that.

If any more are being added I would like to throw my hat into the ring, at current I am apart of the High Elven military as well as a driving force for the Dread Knights and I believe I can speak on part for the Adherency, regardless of current situation. So, if you would have me I would be happy to assist as best I could.

Something I feel needs to be addressed;

- Raiding isn't always a villainous activity. It is used to lower supplies, cut food lines and or trade routes to a nation.

- Players on villainy blacklist should be allowed to engage in raiding, because it simply isn't villainous.

- Raiding gives something for guards to do, provides interesting tension building roleplay and pvp if it comes to that.

A few things I feel should be added to the upcoming new War rules;

- Raiding should be as many troops as possible. It wouldn't make sense for a nation's military force to bring small numbers to a town, city or capital. (Maybe limit it to 40. Anything under I'd find silly and just a stupid way to punish people properly roleplaying a ongoing war.)

- Force claims of conquest and land on enemies. Giving them the power to deny warclaims is stupid. period.

- Since the war revolves a lot of road banditry and tolling to lower supplies, the new "war rule team" should look to improve on ways of how people can stop people running via pvp without breaking rules. A thousand halts apparently is not enough roleplay to stop someone. Its quite honestly pathetic anyone can escape from any situation without consequence.

- PvP should be default (unless raiding force wants to roleplay it out, although I could only see that against small opponents.) If someone sees a raiding party appearing they should make flight. Not stick around then cry out "M-muh items!" when they get pvp'd.

Thats all the input I really have.

P.S: Also remove OP weapons, gear and other things. Stick to iron armour, iron weapon please. (However revive Telanir's godly weapon plugin, Warhammers, Battleaxes etc...)

P.S.S: Crack down on the hackers, found 6 in 8 hours of total skirmishes.
