Backup Lago 320 Share Posted January 23, 2015 We saw the magic plugin half a year back, Telanir had a video showing how it worked. It looked pretty much done and was certainly usable in that state. What happened to it? That, and we've pumped out no less than four smaller magic plugins for antagonists. Hell, one was put together for the Dwarf Mini Antagonist in Anthos. I don't think there's an excuse for not having the magic plugin any more. I think it's about time we were told what happened to Telanir's one, and if that's somehow now off the cards why we can pump out plugins like they're going out of fashion but have failed to release a magic plugin since Aegis. 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The server is at a wonderful place where it is. It seems that Band Reports and Bans on down (possibly because of the blacklist?) and people are having quality RP. I think that if we used the Media Team efficiently we could recruit more people, hopefully with the help of the AT help these people onto the server, and efficiently use the ET to create a better quality of RP to keep people onto the server. Lima 774 Share Posted January 28, 2015 The magic plugin has been the largest waste of resources with little reward we have seen so far. Instead of many features the tech team could have been doing we have demanded the magic plugin with no avail. I don't know why you are so infatuated with the magic plugin, there are no benefits to using it over a sword and Armour and it will still have material cost. You can't use the excuse ''I don't need to carry weapons and armour I am a mage''. The magic plugin will still have high material costs, so why not just carry armour considering? Is it (dun dun dun) you want everything cheap and to put in no work as you play a dirt poor character who can't even afford to eat but act like their a well bread noble? Whats on top priority in reality? Donation perks, so that donator confidence can be restored after the soulbind incident and indeed any other plugin that is likely to be easier to code and easier to deliver in the foreseeable future. Aryon 679 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Honestly, it has been 3.5 years since the Magic Pluggin was promised. I'm legitimately suprised people haven't given up on it yet. But seriously, I don't really think a magic plugin needs to be top priority. I honestly think that new members, and a tutorial should be the #1 priority. Advertise more, get people to vote. Anything that can get more players. There just aren't as many apps as there used to be, and that will honestly be the death of the server ( eventually ). ~ Fiend ~ 611 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Late response is late, but admins should be much like gms in terms of being in charge and making decisions, but they have the extra responsibility of keeping the gms in check. In my perfect world, that's it. No secret lore team, representatives are picked from the whole staff team and the admins are just there in case something goes wrong. Get rid of nexus. I know it won't happen (for a while), but pls. Update to 1.8! Biggest priority, there. I want my skinsss... And if you have to get rid of nexus, bonus. :) Cut back on plugins either way. We've hit an all time high, I think, and I don't see the pros outweighing the cons. Publically scrap the magic plugin. It doesn't seem to be happening. Stop trying to make magic happen. But repeating a word back at a question of semantics "what does /word/ mean" is pretty un-helpful. In reality the title of an administrator is definitely NOT the role as it is on LotC.
