Well this is a no brainer all drugs should be legal. The federal government should not regulate social freedoms. Or so it said in the constitution.

And no I have never done drugs nor will I ever. I'm only high on Freedom!

I think the war on drugs should be ended, but I absolutely disapprove of the use of any drug, be that alcohol or smoking in general. It's only bad for you. While a "high" for a little bit would probably be cool, it's still inhaling smoke. If you adhere to weed culture, you're a punk ass. Smoking is for degenerates.

I also think that everyone included below should read up on what smoking does to you.

No worse than any number of other things people do to themselves that are "socially acceptable" on a daily basis. Nothing is "bad for you" if you don't let it control you. Anything is "bad for you" if you do. Cell phones give you cancer and there's chemicals in our drinking water, on our clothes, in what we use to clean, in our food, everywhere. A little smoke won't kill you.

Read: A little smoke. Are campfires horrible? Should they be outlawed too?

Is it good for you? Can be. But that's a point I'd debate long before freaking out about why it might kill you like the million other things you want to do.

Um. Ok. Stabbing myself with a knife is therefore not bad for me, got it.

It's not socially acceptable, and it will kill you. I spoke of things subjective, not of things finite, as this is in the end a display of opinions.

Hehe, you caught me. ;)

But seriously, smoking causes well document long-term and short-term health problems. Same with alcohol and other such items. Socially acceptable, still harmful. Have to be careful how much you partake in or you will hurt yourself.

: )

Still, it's not up to the government. Or at least, if you ask me, it shouldn't be.

Proper education on such would do more than the law is currently doing, and if people deem it too harmful to do, then more power to them.

Oh, no, I think marijuana should be legal. I think it's 'harmful' but it should be legal, like alcohol or smoking or w/e example you want to use is.

On a recreational level - 420 Blaze it, 360 noscope dank yes.
As with most things in life, it's a matter of finding a right balance for yourself.

Is it healthy? - On a recreational level, smoking weed does little harm. But is it healthy? No. In certain cases however, the use of marijuana can be used as a pain relief drug.

Should it be legalized? - Yes. Why? Because legalizing it would bring more pro's than con's in my opinion. A legalised drug can be controlled by a governing body. The quality of the product could be monitored. An illegal drug has more chance of being of inferior quality = more harmful. And of course, there should be limits to the amount you can buy, use and carry with you. Just like alcohol (which is in fact more harmful than weed).

Other than that. Studies have shown that legalizing a drug doesn't increase use rate. Nor does making a drug illegal decrease the use of a drug in any significant way. Making weed legal is the way to go!

You aren't inhaling full puffs of smoke when you sit down by a fire, unless you're sitting right on top of it. A little smoke will not kill you, but it is bad nonetheless. A person should aim to inhale as little smoke as possible. There's nothing good that comes out of it, it really is that simple.

I don't approve of all the chemicals everywhere. This is much more avoidable, as well as completely voluntary.

On another note the taxes the government would get from legalization O.o..

Edit: Also not to mention every time you buy from the streets you're indirectly supporting an illegal drug trade where people are killed and brutally murdered every day over your money...IE the mexican cartel...won't even get into that.

Legalise it.

- It'll stop the wannabe 'boy boy' kids from yelling "YEAH BRUV I BLAZE ALL DAY FAM!" smoking blatantly in the streets or with their mates to raise their self-esteem when in reality they look like pu$$ies who gave into peer pressure.

- People under REAL stress will find themselves easily relieved, 'cus it's marijuana. What more needs to be said? We all know what the herb does by now, I hope.

- Rasta men will look cooler.

Yeah, smoke's bad for you. But so are many things. Marijuana may be psychologically addictive, but it's not physically addictive. So those of weak will truly suffer. Can't handle yourself? Oh well, your fault when you get lung cancer. There's been too many ******* adverts that try either exaggerate or precisely state the negative effects of smoking, the stupid kids and adults should know how to at least regulate their smoking habits at a minimal level due to all these anti-smoking adverts.
