I think we should make it mandatory to have a list of namechanges for the sake of knowing who everybody is. It's a bit silly to just hop on and have no clue who half the people around me are. That's not to mention that a ton of people have some odd names at the moment.

tbh i feel like there is little reason to need to know who people around you are ooc. if anything it can boost immersion. and it's not that hard to just say /msg bigdaddymcfatstacks "hey who were you before the name change?"

I'm sorry but there are those of us that would like to hide in peace so that their characters are not targeted oocly by Meta team 6 and what not for things that happen in rp. This name change system gives people a great chance to change and/or try out a new style of role play without having to worry about someone refusing them based on the fact that they know them oocly.

I legitimately could not agree more. Many of my characters are targeted OOC'ly. So this is rather nice. And majority have Skype, so telling those you trust not to megagame can be said through many different IM ways.
