An ignoble house forged in the smithy of its founder, Lark Steelwall when he first came to Anthos long ago. A young man, fresh off the boat from his homeland, Lark found welcome amongst the Raevirs after being introduced to Siegmund Carrion personally by a nobleman. After deliberation into Lark’s worth, Siegmund named him a strelt and eventually gave him control over the smithy, laying the path for Lark’s journey to legend. Over time as Lark’s skills grew, so did his wealth and fame. He used his prowess to supply House Carrion and Oren with weapons and armor over the course of his life, his loyalty to the nobleman that gave him opportunity unshakeable and unwavering.

Serving alongside Heinrik Von Roy in the Battle of the Dreadfort and later on as the Commissar of New Abresi, Lark’s military history is as red as the banners of House Carrion. Lark served House Carrion loyally during their campaigns through the end of Anthos until his death in 1451. It was then the young Avgust’s Steelwall’s job to carry on his father’s long lasting loyalty to House Carrion. Avgust grew up alongside Roy Carrion, the two eventually becoming close as brothers. This bond carried into Avgust joining Roy in his enterprise to break away from Oren and serve him in his new vision and city of Pravets.

Wavemaker

A golden smithing hammer bestowed upon Lark Steelwall by his father upon his final visit to his homeland as a memento of his mastery of his chosen profession. The hammer was created by a distant ancestor and has been passed down from father to

son who has chosen blacksmithing for generations. It is said to be able to reforge

broken weapons forged by the previous owners by mere touch.

The bastard sword of Lark Steelwall, reforged countless times to be continuously improved by his hand. The blade has seen countless wars and bloodshed. Upon his death, the sword went missing, Its current location is unknown.

 

 

Nobody’s Whisper

A sleek single-bladed dagger forged by Lark Steelwall on his then-apprentice’s thirteenth birthday. It was bestowed unto Bod and he kept it with him wherever he ventured. It never left his side, from when he was a budding street pickpocket then a gangster to a masterful thief. As Bod slipped in and out of various fake deaths and a strong depression it was switched back and forth between Bod and Lark until finally arriving in Avgust’s hands. When Bod returned from a long time in isolation, living as a vagrant on the streets, it was returned to him. The dagger is claimed to hold good luck to those in trouble and is ingrained with lines of gold and black steel.

The physical traits of House Steelwall are the dark grey eyes and dark brown to black hair and a fairly lean build, best suited to labor. Most carry a thick to light Raevir accent because of integrating with Raevir culture.
