Sinhotep

The artifacts are taken in to be studied and attempts are made to decipher the strange language by the Priesthood, who call for anyone in the realm who might aid them. [EY YO MODS]

The ceremonial clothing and armour, as well as a small portion of the gold coins are placed in the Palace's gallery wing, which is open to the Sincan public, but guarded well. The rest of the gold coins are donated to the Sincan goldsmith.

With the discovery of the shiny rocks, and the veins of iron and copper, a mine is constructed upon the site. Any flint is sent to the fletchers.

The noises from the sea worried the Sincans by the coast, and brought concern to the government back in the capital city. With some of the Sincans suggesting it might be ocean predators of some sort, fishing and pearling boats are ordered to stay within reaching range of each other and the coast. Meanwhile, research begins into a large device that could help slay any potential beasties.

Event: Sinet

The Priests make a slight uncovering of the text and write it down.

"Zeran, Zeran is the key."

They quickly go to the Leader of Sinet, and pray to their God asking, "What does this mean? And who is this Zeran?"

Everyone heard of the fate of the scouts they sent out. Even now people were debating what to do, most favoring staying huddled to the ravine like always. This way became popular when the Hermit endorsed it, and the people believed Shai'tan would protect them. The ravine's caves were extensive and sculpted beautifully by pick and channeling spirit. On the land near it the community had developed into a town, with bridges, buildings, and platforms spanning across the ravine near the White Tower. A palisade is being built using the nearby bountiful forest, the woodsmen guarded by Sentinels of the Tower. A new military institution formed by the suggestion of the Hermit who Shai'tan bid do such. Aes Sedai and their warders were fierce but small in number. As such the Sentinels of the Tower were ordinary people volunteering to join the force. Their purpose was to do the basic work while the Aes Sedai did more delicate task. Equipped with weapons from the forge that has been long at work now with the raw material from the mine. Their armor was usually light and the Sentinels traditionally draped a pelt of many different animal hides over their chest.

Bows were made from the local wood, and were kept lightweight but with a good poundage of draw. Having lived in the forest so long, the People of the Tower were adept at hiding in the tree tops or forest floor. Having practiced from stalking animals, they could navigate the woods quietly. With all this martial pride instilled, the people still refused to venture to far from the White Tower. They remembered the scouts long dead, and stayed close. Besides the town by the Tower, the mine settlement was growing faster as more business flowed through. With such a great pick, mining was easy and quick. Copying the model of the first forge, more were set up in the settlements of the Tower. Ore was shipped to these places and produced into whatever was needed. Steddings all throughout the land made up the minority of the population. They were the frontiersman, not huddling for safety in a town. They were hardy folk and fiercely stubborn. Not giving ground to the beast of the woods, they farmed and eked out a life.

The town around the White Tower was named Tar Valon as the population grew. The forest around it was cleared for some distance, and recently settled by suburban farmers. The sense of being packed in was noticeable, and people again began clamoring for expansive expansion. Instead of sending scouts they shouted that the Aes Sedai march into the trees at the head of a troop of Sentinels stiffened by warders. The Hermit could not persuade them this time, and Shai'tan remained pointedly silent to avoid any hate from either side. Still fearful however, the people did not want to send so many as to be left defenseless.

Called the search for the scouts by people desperately in need of humor, three Aes Sedai, twelve warders, and twenty sentinels head north. Shai'tan had sensed something coming from there, but still could not risk involving himself. Instead he sent a storm to subtly manipulate the happenings of his people. So fierce, the expedition had to turn east and avoid the storm blocking them from the north and the swamps. They went further then any ever had, and they would continue on until finding something of value. Life went back to normal back in the lands of the White Tower, as people speculated fate of the expedition. The balance of life was on a knife's edge however, the expedition would mark the success or defeat of a faction clamoring for expansion. Life was becoming more complicated then survival, and different people had different views. Factions usually headed by Aes Sedai formed and began to express their views and try to see them become real. The Hermit was becoming more and more silent in the Tower, and the people spoke for themselves.

Sinhotep

Sinhotep frowns at the mention of a 'Zeran'. He responds to his people:

"I will find Zeran, my Children. Fear not."

Sinhotep then reaches out across the realm, with a booming voice:

"I search for Zeran. Reveal yourself, I seek only peace."

The heretics have charged out of the city. Infantry has formed up and engaged with the enemy. The ferocity of the enemy managed to make up for their lack of skill and arms. However, the enemy is finally broken as the cavalry circles around the city, smashing into their flanks. Many are killed before the last of the enemy are too wounded to continue the fight.. Those too badly injured to live are finished off before we round up the remainder of those lightly wounded. Once we have done this, we began pillaging, taking what was little left of value before setting it ablaze. We now have begun our march south with a burning city behind us. We march with jubilant soldiers, fallen comrades being taken back for burial, and prisoners.

Field Marshal Ulrich

He would smile at the words of the two. "We gladly accept peace. We also have terms for a alliance ready. It would be a defensive pact, as if one of us is invaded, the other would come to aid. We also propose a trade agreement. And to seal our new found agreement, we would propose a shared city between us on the river separating our two territories. This would allow ships access to sea through the gulf and serve as a symbol for all trade from North to the South. Do these sound reasonable to you and your people?"

High Prophetess Hadriana.

We have been marching north for a while. We have entered the swamp and are going to rest. Altough this is not prime position we must stay hidden from the outsiders. We shall pray for guidance. And we shall send some fisherman to fish some fish from the boggy lakes and rivers of the swamp.

The Great Shepherd.

This night I sent a vision to my Prophetess, go down the swamp to fertile lands. I told her not to stray from my path and to never leave the safeness of the swamp.

Event: Sinet & Partly the Dwarf Tribes

As the call echoes through the minds of the Gods, The Black Robed figure stops, and then points to the East, speaking in an ancient language, the screech of the Dragon is heard as it takes flight in the blizzard. It's form is seen rushing to the East, rising to fly far over the Swamp, rather than near it.

Sinhotep would feel the area around himself become cold, but on their skin feel as if ablaze with fire. A voice begins to speak throughout the area, dark and ancient.

"I am Zeran, Lord of the Underworld and Guide of the Dead. Now, child... Who, are you?"

The voice of Zeran speaking directly to Sinhotep would feel as if a thousand tons of rock have been placed upon his shoulders, from the power alone.

In the distance, in the Northern Desert, the Sinetians spot something in the sky, large and dark, smoke billowing from it.

Event: White Tower

As the people move through the Northern Forest, they become aware easily, they are not alone. Every shadow holds something lurking, watching and waiting. They choose to press on, as the Creatures do not seem to wish to attack, or are afraid to. As they go further, they hear the crunching of wood and leaves all around them, the Forest begins to sway in the breeze. When they look to see if something is coming, they notice the Creatures in the shadows slinking further and further into them, something similar to a hyena, laughs. The men begin to group in a circle, expecting something to happen at any moment.

As they look throughout the Forest around them, they see nothing, nothing at all moving. The commander begins to say "It was nothing." But is cut short. Within a blink of an eye, one of the soldiers is flung at a vast speed into a large and ancient tree's branches, at first he is screaming, but it is silenced with a thud in the distance and the laughing of the hyena type animals.

All at once, several more men are flung into the Forest, some high into the air, smacking branches above and then falling down to their death. Others manage to grab branches and hold on, but they find from the branch they too are flung again into the distance. The men begin to panic and scatter, only the commanders stand their ground, attempting to maintain order of the expedition.

Behind the men, the limbs of the trees, vines, roots, and entire trees begin to shift and come together, forming.

OdnYKFJ.jpgThe men attempt to run, most are flung into the forest, their fates unknown, but undoubtedly certain. Only one of the men returns to the White Tower, one of the commanders, his spirits broken and shattered.

Event: Nyth Collective

Another sighting of the Giant Sea Creature is reported, this time within the isles themselves. Spinosaurs transporting materials and food alike begin to disappear in their short journeys. The Nyths begin to worry, many are scared, and some begin to pray to the Beast as a God...

The Man and Woman nod in unison, "The terms are fair and well accepted."

The population has heightened yet again, near 4,000. The Wise Men, Philosophers, and Engineers began working on multiple projects. The Wise Men set on developing a culture, the Philosophers dabbling in the sciences to use the Forest as protection even more than what Druidism offered, and the Engineers began plans for the city, and issued contracts to the miners to obtain the resources needed.

Allahn furrows his brow, hearing this new God calling out for 'Zeran,' out of the blue. He too now wonders, 'Whom is Zeran?'

Sinhotep

Sinhotep is almost utterly blown away by the force behind Zeran's voice. He responds to him weakly:

"I am Sinhotep, Master of the Sands

I wish no quarrel with you, great one. I only wish the good of my Children, whom discovered mention of your name."

At the same time, he speaks to Amenhotep VI and the Priesthood:

"Steel yourselves, Children."

As a result, the Sincans prepare their newly built ballistae, looking towards the north with a feeling of dread in their guts. The Hunter-Knights are ordered to act as peace-keepers for the time being.

Setherus

He grew in rage as the annoyance the giant sea creature is causing damage, the creature is getting worshipped while all those worship should belong to him. The spinosaurus were replaceable, his people were not. Setherus contacts the god that responded to his calling.

"Volkhardt, God of fire. I seek your aid in destroying an annoyance in my lands."

Setherus decends to his aura form for Nyths to see, he appears above the temple where Quetzal and many Nyths shocked in his presence as Setherus appear out of place echoes of his form split above and below to go back to the center where his shadow aura form with red eyes stood. Setherus shouts in rage for his people to hear across the islands.

"I am Setherus. You are seeking worship on your god's mighty foe. I gave you life, it wants destruction. Do not give it the power of your worship as your mighty god will take fiece to this creature. This creature will face full power of your god!"

He disappears and awaits for the other god's response.

Volkhardt

He sighs, sitting there. He hears  many things of others gods, many of them talking of someone named Zeran. However, one specifically used his name. He pondered the request for a moment before responding. "My creations are forming a port city. I will have them build warships to send to your islands. However, I am in high hopes that me taking the time to aid you will further your interest in partnership." A second message is sent to Allahn as well. "Greetings friend. I come to ask you for help. My people are constantly burdened by the lake. If they don't dam it, it will drain but the farmland suffers. I simply ask of you to solve this problem for me, as you being the God of Life."

Heinrich

We have returned to Honisberg with our prisoners. There was a cheering and feast for our victory, and a memorial for the dead. The heretics wounds were mended. Now they reside in the dungeon, before being put in the stockades from noon to nightfall everyday and be mocked. If their god cared for them he would have saved them. Scouts have returned from the Southern peninsula, although not sober. Apparently a merry race resides there. However, there are more pressing matters to be dealt with. A alliance has been made with the western people. Our population has grown to 8,000, with a military of 3,000. We have begun researching basic siege equipment such as ballistae, catapults, and siege towers. It also is time for us to expand, so that is what I shall do. I have sent 500 settlers west to the port city agreed upon with the Forestians. With them we send builders and supplies to construct the city. I have also sent two forces east and north. Each consists of 500 soldiers and 500 settlers. The one to the east is setting up a fort and the settlers are going to begin setting up polders to make the land farmable. The one to the North is also going to set up a fort and watchtowers. The settlers are going to begin farming the land as well.

EDIT

Jail Keeper Blaskovitz

I have been ordered by Konig Heinrich to try to break these foreigners and have them worship our god. The progress is slow, they are very tough. I shall start using new methods to try and get them to break.

As Volkhardt speaks, the Lake's center begins to fume, a small island appears in the center where a tree begins to grow rapidly, from sapling to fully grown. From beneath the Tree's roots, water begins to pour at a rate in balance with the water level of the Lake.

Event: Sejan

As they near the Swamp, the people begin to feel something, it calls them to the center of the Swamp. The longer they stay, the more they cannot resist the urge to move deeper and deeper into the Swamp. Every day, they would report something new of wonder laying within the borders of their vision within the swamp.

Event: Sinet

The Dragon has arrived, its great wings casting sand into the air as it lands, smoke and ash raining down from the sky around it. It lands before the Temple to Sinhotep, and stands there, as if waiting.

The Voice of Zeran calls out yet again, "And by what, have you heard my name? Whom did tell your people of me?" He would sound as if angered, but keeping savage intent locked away.

Event: Dwarf Tribes

The Black Robed figure is close, they have nearly reached the main settlement. The air is reported to be unnerving when close to this being, causing the feeling of Death and loss.

Sinhotep

Sinhotep responds to Zeran, concern growing for both him and his Children:

"Ancient artifacts, washed up from the sea. My people read them, they named you the key."

The Sincans train their ballistae on the Dragon, ready to fire. Around half the Hunter-Knights keep watch on it, readying their bows. Any non-military Sincans are evacuated from the immediate area.
