Sinhotep

Sinhotep was not all too pleased when the voices of other Gods called out to him, and the presences of those who didn't. Many of them spoke of their own people, whom could prove a threat to his own Children.

He knew the location of a few of them from their voices, but he would not be so foolhardy as to reveal him and his Children's location to all.

However there were two of those powers that existed above all, which further troubled him. Greater reason to keep to himself, Sinhotep thought.

Meanwhile in Sinet, a small city was growing. Over 900 Sincans now existed in the world, and society had become a great deal more complex. The hunters had began using bows and camels to tackle the great beasts of the land, like hippopotamuses, but also served to guard the Sincan people, either from wildlife or dangerous individuals. In that respect, they were a sort of knightly class, of which there were around 100 Sincans.

Around 20 of these Hunter-Knights are sent to scout the lands on the edge of the deserts of Sinet.

Nyths Collective

The population grew to 1,000 Nyths in five different clans, the strong and quick ones became hunters and warriors which are up to 600 armed with weak leather armour of their fallen preys of cows and other wild creatures lurking in the jungle. They constructed stone axes, spears and stone stords for their armoury. The clans were built like stone hut cities with a temple city for the leader and main events to take hold. Statues and small temples of Setherus were built in honour of their god. The progress with the Nyths are as it took time to expand to the smaller jungle islands.

Although trouble were around the corner, reports of fishmen and hunters being eaten by giant beasts in the water and having trouble in stopping them since the Nyths cannot go underwater and few of these giant beasts are hard to kill on land too. Few jungle islands inhabit these giant creations and it puts Quetzal (the son of Juk-aka who passed away to hunting these beasts) on edge.

Setherus

He was alerted by presences, a presence in the north of where he could see ashes of dark clouds from the volcano and an presence so strong, if he was mortal his forehead would sweat of being nerivous. This was not all, as he felt other presences. Other gods like him, he listens to few of these gods but remains slient. He does not want them to know of him, not just yet. His children are not ready.

Setherus continued to seek out the creatures that he discovered before resting on the search.

_77498610_spinosaurus_ngm_102014_superja

He discovered the large creature he briefly saw, it was a spinosaurus. It raised from out of the water with large amount of fishes in it's month to only eat it whole to wonder into the jungle. It smells something and it was right, a group of Nyths hunters attack it with thrown spears and it made the spinosaurus mad. The creature sprints at the Nyths with great force and power, Setherus wishes this beast to be one with the Nyths.

Setherus makes his presence known and appeared before the mighty beast. The creature shakes it's head, try to snap at Setherus. Setherus gave intelligence of respect, fear and loyality to the creature to make it tamable. Setherus showed the Nyths how to tame these beasts without making them mad and to allow them carry on as when tamed these beasts they should not kill the Nyths no-more.

When Nyths tamed this creature, it bowed it's head and left to carry on. They alerted rest of the Nyths and Quetzal of this news while Setherus searches the other Spinosaurus to give the same intelligence, this search and giving the creatures power makes Setherus want to sit down although another creature lies in the deeps the pterygotus. Nyths greatest trouble.

Field Marshal Ulrich

He seems to grimace at the words of the high prophet, clearly displeased. "We have come here to settle and expand our domain, not buy crops. Our population is growing, and that means we require more room, more food, and sharing won't work out too well. I will return to my Konig and inform him of this place. When we next return, we plan to stay, and settle. Without sharing." With this he would turn, returning to the main force. They would then begin their march back south to Honisberg.

The Harvest Guardian

Golden_Wheat_Bushel-icon.png

He stood over his halflings as they began to become more sophisticated. Baby halflings were made in the tavern, a place of worship and mingling. Where halflings got drunk and ate food, and fell in love. They had elected a Thane, the leader of the village. The Thane and his sherrifs ride out on ponies to meet the scouts of the humans. They offer them ale and pipeweed, to come and enjoy the festivities of Harvest Festival! The armored men get strange looks from the simple farming folk, but are soon welcomed into ale drinking contests and pie feasts! The Harvest Guardian grants his people the gift of fire and the gift of melons.

High Prophetess

As I came back with her warriors a laborer brought her a shiny rock. It looked similar to what the others were wearing, I ordered my men to look into it. The women in the village are more fertile then ever. I've ordered the building of a statue to our God. I've also ordered more soldiery since these outsiders want to steal our land. More weapons and more bows etc. I've also recruited 20 men and woman into the priesthood our God has granted us.

The Great Shepherd

These new people trouble me...They use metal fortunately one of the Sejan found some cooper in the in the mountains.I must protect my children. I shall make the soil there crops grow in slightly more fertile. And perhaps even contact the God of the outsiders.

Minisa

Minisa finally decided to go and check on her creations and was surprised to see that they've tamed the surrounding vegetation, making much better version of houses and even a actual smelting building made from stone which shows that they've learned how to build stone things while she was away. Smiling she then looks to their leader and was happy to see that an Heir has been born, and was currently six years old and learning all the basic's of the tribe. After a while of watching Minisa went to take a closer look in her creations slowly expanding town, More stable and stronger houses replacing the old wooden and broken houses while a large amount of the Males walk into the previously pitch black cave but was now emulated by multiple torches. Minisa was also happy to see that they had not cut down any of the largest of the trees which provided them protection from the harsh rays of sun light during the middle of the day. Their population has reached the four hundreds and growing very rapidly thanks to the help of the hunters and gatherers collecting food from the vegetation and wild life, Pelts being made into armor from the toughest creatures around their area. A new building seemed to be in construct, a quiet big one in fact-what appeared to be a military academy to train the most basic's of defense with the weapon of choice, A spear, shield, short sword or a long bow. Zooming out she looks over her creations progress and smiles to see that a portion of the island was inhabited by her creations, She watched them learn how to to fish from the ocean and even that lake which provided some more food for the tribe, More safe path ways being created leading around the whole city, Further plans seemed to be getting made of upgrading their houses and weaponry.

Allahn watched as his people prospered greatly in the forest, their numbers rising to over 350. He smiled, but it faded soon enough, 'There were other Gods, which means other people, and there are many Gods...' He thought to himself and went before The First Two. And spoke "My children, you are the first of my people and the wisest, for this you shall become higher than your children and lead and guide them. I shall anoint you the Keepers of the Forest. For you shall do all you can to protect it and your people. And for this task, I shall grant you the knowledge of Druidism, to use the Forest to protect you and itself." And thus, his children then knew of how to control the vines and tree branches, and their first act with this strength was to densen the forest to where there were only but a few ways into the forest by anyone but a Forestian, whom could enter in any direction.

Their first act as the Keepers, was to begin a mine at the base of the plateau, in order to obtain stone and build paths and such with it in what shall be The Forest City.

Event: Dwarven Tribes

Within the Northern Wastelands, the Dwarves find a small stone, that when struck with another piece of it, it creates a fire of a bright green flame that lasts for hours on even the smallest of pieces.

Event: Nyth Collective

A Nyth, walking on the outer shore of the island sees a great Sea Serpent far out in the ocean, at the sight of this they are terrified, and began to run towards the others through the jungle. While running, they trip and fall on a hard surface, they turn to see what tripped them and find it a stone brick laying in the tall grass. Perhaps they should investigate further?

Event: Preusk

A Preuskian looking for a place to mine, stumbles upon a gorge in the mountains, at its base they see a fresh water lake, surrounded with an abundance of wood, apple trees, and a vast field of grass, ready to be farmed.

Event: Honisberg

A great rain comes from the skies, nearly flooding the kingdom, making the ground wet and soggy, covered in mud. The people at first believe they will all drown, but when the rains pass, they look to the Lake to find it overfilled with fresh water.

Event: Sinet

A small child goes to play along the beach at their new home, they spot what appears to be a ship on the shore, aged and broken, cast ashore by the tide, they return home and tell their parents, who informs the leader.

Event: White Tower

A scout goes into the rocky hills, there they find an abandoned mineshaft, with a forge closeby. There they find a schematic, protected by a glass pane, sitting on a desk of stone. The schematic is of a pickaxe designed to cut rock sharper and finer than most.

Event: Sejan

A youngling heads out into the forest to play with their sister in a game of Tag. While playing they discover a fairly large orange orchard in the center of the forest, between Sejan and Honisberg.

Event: Gimblewood

A halfling goes on a walk through the mountains, on their journey they find a small valley and within it an old cabin. Around the cabin, filling the valley they see great orchards of trees bearing their fruits, and upon the ground vast varieties of plants, all overly ready to be harvested. The place is simply overgrown with food.

Event: Tyre

A forager goes into the woods in search of a new patch to forage from, on their search they find an apple orchard scanning the southern part of the island.

Event: The Forest, Nearby Nations

The Great Tree groans and shifts, the Great Forest following this act, the groaning of the trees is heard across all nearby lands.

The Island between The Forest and Gimblewood once more thunders with the sound of cracking stone upon stone, sending even more animals into the air and scattering across the ground.

The scouts bring the schematic back to the Hermit of the Tower, hoping he would know what to do. Communing with Shai'tan, the god gives him the ability to make the picks. Soon workers under protection of Aes Sedai and their warders head to the mineshaft to begin harvesting the ores there. They also use the picks to effectively carve out the caves in the ravine, shaping it to their liking. Going further in, and with defenses in the form of barriers of stone. The population was growing, and more people of the Tower headed from the ravines into the surrounding forest. The clearings with their wheat, and the rivers and lakes were the location of small hamlets. Around the mineshaft a small community is developing with the influx of labour.

Shai'tan allowed the Hermit to reveal him to his people, they were ready to know of his existence. Aes Sedai with the gift of the soul worshiped him fervently, and the people of the Tower's faith was not in question. They praised the gift of the soul, and the spirits that allowed everything to be as it is. The White Tower is seen as a symbol, one for the people they were, and for the god they now worshipped. The Hermit is seen as a disciple of Shai'tan. Already thriving from people drawing in from the woods, more people moved from the ravines and lived directly by the White Tower. Remembering the sounds coming from the woods, armed patrols always led by Aes Sedai patrol the nearby land. Wondering what else there could be in the forest, more scouts are sent out to explore the forest.

Shai'tan felt the presence of some gods, and strongly when others called out to everyone. Deciding his people weren't ready for contact with others, he pointedly remained silent. He would seek others out in his own time, but for now would find out what he could and keep his people as hidden as possible. His sense of unease grew when he felt the being of two greater then he, and thanked his good choice in keeping discreet.

Event: White Tower

As the scouts head out into the upper forest, soon after they are lost sight of. Their screams can be heard with the snapping of trees and rustle of the forest leaves. They do not return.

Minisa

Minisa blinks when she watches a forager rush back to the tribe and inhales before slowly she transforms into her human form and walks towards the patch where the forager came from smiling happily at the abundance of apple orchards. Quickly disappearing only giving the gatherers that come to collect the apples a glimpse of her before disappearing in a smokey haze, she watches as they slowly collect apples but leave enough to save for any possible disaster. The population has grown to the five hundreds by now, a sizable army being created, Armor mainly consisting of tough pelt from the animals they hunted, but some of the higher ranking soldiers get to have the first set of iron armor and spear weapons, Females are also joining the patrol force. The patrols slowly march along the borders that are very slowly growing, A map has been made showing what their land looks like which to their current knowledge is only the two islands, Their placement on the island would be on the east side of the island with the smaller island in view.

High Prophetess Hadriana.

Some of our children have found these fruit trees they are sweet and they are yellowish red. I ordered for the fruits to be picked up so we could plant these new fruits, although this fruit forest is near where the outsiders came from so I'll order all the other trees to be chopped down and the fruits to be taken. That way they won't have access to these new food source. After a few weeks of tinkering we final found a way to make things with this metal. Although it bends too easily. We've also found some lose metal this time it's grey, we shall do the same things we did with the brown metal. Our people are at almost 700 people our army is now 250 of the bravest men and woman. The temple has finished and we have a good number of 20 priests for 680 people, this will keep the faith strong. More dikes will be built for more farmland.

The Great Shepherd.

I'm happy to see my people strive, for now I shall not reveal myself.Their faith grows so does my power the Prophetess is doing a mighty job I shall reward her when she passes away. For now I shall keep an eye on the outsiders to see if they come to my realm or not.

OOC REMINDER.

Progress your race once per turn. You may post numerous reaction posts but only one post per turn that increases your population, etc. Next time I see this I will either create a event against your nation or tell you to remove the post. As of my post a new turn is beginning.

Volkhardt

He paces, only getting few responses, but he still knew there were more. Angry, he sent messages to the High Priest. After this he would sigh, collect himself, sending messages to two of the gods. "Allahn, it is pleasing to find friends so close. I believe it would be in the best interest for our peoples to ally. Are you interested?" He would then send another message. "Branyng, you are far North of my people, and I believe we share interest in the are between us. Do you agree?"

Heinrich

Ulrich returned yesterday, bearing news of a people in the plains. He said they were willing to sell us food, but not have us settle there. I was pondering this when the High Priest approached me, telling me of a vision of our armies marching on the plains. Surely this is what our god would will us to do? The population has grown to 2,000 with 900 members of the Military. Our walls are being made of stone now. I have sent scouts west and east to search for settleable places. But I must deal with more pressing matters now. I march North with 500 Infantry, 200 Archers, and 100 Cavalry. If these plainsmen won't leave peacefully, they will leave by force. We will search for their city or main force and conquer them. God wills it.

World Event

The Eastern sea is peaceful, for now. However, occasionally some would hear faint booming echoing from across the sea. Clearly far out, most ignore it as it seems not that important. For now.

The nerious Nyth and group of hunters rushed into the temple dragging him across the Nyth's feet against the stone floor to meet their leader Quetzal stood with a stone spear and leather cloak, a new fashion the Nyth women tried him on with. Quetzal was discussing things with the female Nyths until the group interrupted him. He dismiss the females to approach the group.

The hunters left the Nyth and Quetzal alone.

"I've heard you have found something in both the waters and in our lands. If that is so, our hunters will investigate the ruins. But tell me of this beast."

Setherus

He watches over the conversation while noticing a few hunters off to where ruins were spotted.

The Forestians had grown greatly over the years, their numbers now rising to around 1,200. The mine was finished many years ago, stone being brought up to create stronger structures atop the plateau. They now begin to create paths throughout the Forest to various resources, and a main road constructed through the Forest towards the other nations. The once wooden wall was beginning to be rebuilt with stone, being torn down piece by piece to be replaced. Gardens as well were being placed throughout the plateau, holding the best of the flowers and fruit bearing plants within the Forest. Their City was beginning to take form.

It did not take long over the years to finish the road to the outer edges of the Forest, simply stones placed here and there to guide the passage. Allahn liked this and all that they were doing, their nation was prospering in its growth. Though Allahn was troubled with the constant thundering of stone clashing with stone from the small Island; but what worried him now was a new sound. The distant sound of booming in the East. Large booming was never a good sign, and he did not trust something that sounded so distant, sounding so close.

He then heard the call of Volkhardt, nodding ever so lightly. He then responded saying, "I agree, if peace can be obtained, I and my people will always welcome it. They have recently finished a path to our City, through the Great Forest. It lies near the river to the West of the Forest. Go there and travel down its path, I shall tell my People of their coming."

He then went before The Keepers, and told them of a People that shall come down the path, telling them they seek Peace in their God's words, but to be prepared if they seek violence. They then began to prepare, creating the Guardians of the Forest. They were armed with stone spears, their skin being of a thick and strong wood, armor was unnecessary. They were near 200 in total numbers within the next 2 days. They had scouts go down along the path to watch for the arrivals, taking with them food for the long, and tiresome journey for the Newcomers. Two were at each post along the road, one to greet and give food, the other to go and tell the City their progress.

Event: The Forest & Surrounding Nations

The Thundering of stone against stone began to occur more often now. It seemed to unnerve the peoples of those that heard as it grew louder and louder every time. Growing as frequent as once every day.

Event: Northern Regions

The Volcanic island began to shake once more, the ice cracking from the vibrations of the mount. The air grew colder and colder every day, and soon a great blizzard blanketed the North. Great winds and cold pushed towards the East, freezing the ocean over even more, and causing all other winds to cease.

Event: Nyth Collective

The Nyth began to describe something he saw within a thick mist of the sea.

mBqlp1d.jpg

He describes it as reaching into the clouds high above, that its length was possible miles, and that all he saw was only the back of the creature, not the entire thing.

The Great Shepherd.

These outsiders do not understand the length I will go too to protect my flock. I shall send a message to their God: "Greetings God of the outsiders not marching upon my land. My people only wish for peace, we gave your creation a chance at trading but they refused, if you do wish to settle you've could have sent  an unharmed emissary to my people or spoken directly to me. If you don't stop your people we will leave but I curse the lands that they may not hatch any more life for generations, that the rivers and streams become barren and that every sheep, goat or large bovine dies of hunger and dehydration. Mark my words. I am a forgiving God if you wish to come to a peaceful outcome you're welcomed to contact me."

Now I must warn my children of this incursion.
