In the beginning, there was the universe. Of the universe sprung the four elements.

Fire-earth-air-water.jpg

Water,

 fire,

earth,

and air.

These four things combined to form new figures.

Of water and fire, steam.

dust_bowl_1.jpg

Of earth and air, dust.

This continued until every physical object was created.

But the universe felt empty.

It lacked something.

From this emptiness sprung the inexplicable.

From this emptiness sprung faith.

resolved_faith.jpeg

Faith was powerful, and she gave birth to her children.

These children each claimed one of the many physical items in the universe.

Years go by, and the children have forgotten of each other, lying in a dormant sleep.

But now, they awake once more, an adventure lying ahead in the darkness, and the fates of these gods will collide.

And thus begins the start of the war.

Volkhardt

Awakened, once more. Long had Volkhardt lay dormant in the dirt, un-awoken by the clashes of Faith's children prior. So devastating was the war waged by his brothers and sisters that it had reshaped the very land he formerly knew. When he rose out of the earth he looked around, studying the uninhabited landscape. Finally, he came upon a land that pleased him. In this land was a lake, that would nourish his people, and wood to help them grow. He began shaping figures in his own likeness. After a great while, he managed to form a few figures similar to himself, then, using much of his power, he breathed life into them, allowing them to feel, taste, and smell. With his last bit of strength, he gave them the knowledge to create things such as tools, shelter, and fire. After his work was complete he grew tired, and went into slumber once more.

Within the depths of the Earth a great yawn is heard, birds fly into the air, rodents of the ground run and hide, and the serpents of the sea scatter in all directions.

Allahn has awoken.

Allahn arises from the crust of the earth and finds himself within a forest, beneath a large and ancient tree in the middle of a great forest. He looks about in all directions, seeing those that watch him from the shadows.

He has power left from his great slumber, but as he is awake, it shall fade. He walks over to the Tree and begins his work.

Using mud from the watery ground beneath his feet, and bark and leaves, and flowers from the area he creates a figure. He looks it over as he walks closer, and he breathes into it's nostrils the breath of Life.

And thus was the First Forestian.

He then watches his creation, and sees it wander the forest aimlessly, lost and lonely. He pities it and goes forth and creates another figure, but this of a woman, and breathed the breathe of Life into it as well. Creating a partner for his First Creation.

He then appears to them soon after beneath the Great Tree speaking, "Behold I have created you, and I am your God Allahn, God of Life and Nature. Go forth, pray unto me and follow me and multiply and create a vast nation within this world, carry on what I have given you, the Breathe of Life, and create and protect new Life. And from this I shall guide and protect you so long as you follow me." And thus he began his teachings of Life to them, of shelter and survival against that which would stand against you within the Forest.

Soon they set out and created a hut of which they would store food, the fruits and vegetables of the Forest. They had no true need for a full shelter, as their were People of the Trees, they found the Forest as close to them as the fruit did to the tree itself.

Over time, the Woman became pregnant and had several sons and daughters within the coming years. Their numbers grew ever so slowly, creating a small village on the top of the Plateau beneath the Great Tree.

Allahn watched and nodded to their work, finding it well and good. He himself went atop the Great Tree and fell asleep once more. His creation of the Forestians took much from him, only the praise, prayers, and rest would give him strength once more.

The trees shaken by the presence of a mighty aura, out of the shadows casted by the trees risen a godly figure. He yawns from his long slumber to look around to find many has changed. Setherus has returned.

He arisen from the depths of what appears to be a jungle to overlook over the great lands he appeared to awaken in. Many jungle islands inhabit these waters, he coughs as he feels weak and his form fading in the sun. He require faith worshippers to keep himself alive. He swift down to the depth of the jungle island to hide in the shadows.

He ponders what his creation shall be until he encountered a small creature, a big lizard wondering in the jungle minding it's own business. Setherus was curious on this creature as he did not made such creature so he follows and study it's every move. He learned what they eat, speed and strength.

Setherus has found an idea for his creation, it was time the creature has taken Setherus image. He took wet mud from the closest waterfall and mound over the lizard to risen it to humanoid form. It was very lizard-like and Setherus was pleased with the results so he continued to do anoher lizard that was happenly walking by. A male and female he thought. Two new beings were form. Setherus cast his shadow aura into these lizardmen to give them the senses and new knowledge of what they could do with their humanoid big form.

The first Nyths were born.

Setherus appears before them as a shadow aura shaped as a lizardmen, his eyes glow full red. "I am Setherus, your creator and god. The darkness and shadows of these jungle islands. I have gave you life, you are my children. As my children you should grow your mighty race, the Nyths. Hunt, build, learn. I'll be watching, pray to me and I'll shall show you greatness." Setherus faded away tired from everything he did today, he slowly goes back to slumber to gather his strength up once again.

The Nyths knew how to survive from their small forms but now they learnt they can hunt bigger games. They hunted and gathered food from fruits on trees and bushes. They managed to build some form of shelter for the time being.

Within the great mountains of the west of Sejan, a God is awoken. He looks confused and tired. After some days of wondering down the mountain he finally sees the great grasslands. He takes a look at this new land. He looks around the big grassland with the occasional tree bunch. He goes back to the mountain to collect pale marble, he then collects dead brownish some even golden grass. With that all together he with his Godly powers create twelve families. He makes himself look like them. He is in tattered robes and he has a Shepard's cane.He speaks in a mighty voice:

"Sejan! My creation, I am your God. Follow me and I shall grant you my favors, follow me and you shall never be lost, follow me and when you die your soul shall not wonder aimless across the ethereal plane. I am the Great Shepard, and you are my lamb go now and create your cities and settlements!"

Some of the Sejan do not believe him but many do so they set out to collect wood.somehow they know how to make basic huts and homes, it's like their mind just learned was it the Shepard? They created a small settlement in the area where they saw their God.

Not so much awakening more so coming back to full consciousness, Shai'Tan emerged once more into the world. Traveling up for many miles, he emerges from the great ravine he had found himself staying in. On all sides were mighty trees, and it seemed there was no end to the thickly forested land. Forest creatures were in abundance, making quite a living off the intense ecosystem. But it seemed as if it was not whole, as if a key element was missing. Shai'Tan realized he was lonely, and not a single soul of his likeness existed. However, he was not like the others. He thrived off of spirits, as he was the deity of it. The trees, the woodland critters, they all had a soul, a spirit. Feeding off that, Shai'Tan knew he still wanted to push ahead.

Instead of creating a figure in his likeness right away, he began to mold the land. Clearings were made in the ever so dense forest, allowing life to sprout. Bushes with berries, wild wheat, wild crops grew with the allowance of space and light. The ravine was kept as it was, but on a land bridge with a circular middle, a massive rock spire shot towards the heavens. Made of the purest white stone, as was the rest of the ravine, it was hollow in the middle. With natural steps rising along it's slopes, it was a perfect place to live...but that was for another time.

Channels were gouged through the forest, allowing water to flow more freely. Lakes sprung out from the springs beneath feeding them, and the trees cut back from these, allowing life to prosper. Animals were divided and began to adapt and evolve in different ways, starting diverse areas within the forest. This allowed more types of spirits to flourish, which was his purpose after all.

The land was moulded to Shai'Tan's will, and has become abundant in life and hospitality. He was tired from this exertion however, and could only create a little more. His first man was created, in the very likeliness of him himself. The man was given the gift of the soul, and could channel the spirits. Wandering the woods, unknowing of Shai'Tan's existence, he took residence in the tower. And thus the Hermit of the Tower lived.

The Harvest Guardian awoke in a large field of wheat atop a mountain. He looked down at the rolling hills below, a perfect spot to create creatures! In his likeliness he formed the Lady Hobbit and the Gentlehalfling. The Halfling race would peacefully till the land below and he would bring them bountiful harvests!

dogodan_hobbit.jpg

His halflings sprouted up from cabbages in the fields below. Immediately milling about and talking with one another. The new race didn't know what to do at first, just mumbling to eachother in gibberish. So The Harvest Guardian granted them the knowledge of farming and a tongue known as Wheat Speak.  The halflings began to plant in their massive fields, all working at creating farms. The halflings, upon finishing their plant, began to burrow into the hills beside them, forming homes. They continued this and then many began to explore their surroundings. The Harvest Guardian smiled, granting them the knowledge of his existence  Many halflings fell to their small knees, bowing at him as he walked the hills, blessing the newly planted farms.

Sinhotep

The sands of the eastern desert shifted as a great being stirred within them. Sinhotep sat up, still partially covered, sending several small desert creatures scurrying. He looked about, then got to his feet. Sinhotep saw a jackal attempting to subdue a moderately sized scorpion. It was repelled several times by pincers and narrowly-missed thrusts of the stinger, but despite this, it valiantly continued its attack. Satisfied that this creature would be suitable, he went over to it, and grabbed it. Sinhotep uplifted it, physically, emotionally, mentally, spirituality, and as he stepped away, he marvelled at his work.

njYdWpj.jpg?1

Sinhotep and his new creation walked around the desert, finding more of the jackals and rebirthing them. Sinhotep didn't talk to them, not yet, and they followed silently as he went round creating more of their kin. After he had uplifted 16 jackals, Sinhotep stopped before the lake at the centre of the desert, and turned to face the small group.

"Children, I, Sinhotep have created you with a purpose: tame this land for your own. No more are you simple beasts, you are the shapers of the world about you, of your own destiny. I will do what I can to ensure your survival, but it is you who will be most responsible for yourselves. As such, you will name yourselves, not I. Go now and wrestle fate to your own will."

With that, Sinhotep left his creations. They convened and found they could communicate with elaboration and detail. Using this new skill, they came up with a name for themselves. In honour of their creator, they were to be name the Sincans. Sinhotep was mildly disappointed by this, he had hoped they would be a little more independent, but was happy for their respect.

The Sincans then went about making crude tools. A few chipped flint to be broad, with sharp edges, bound them to handles made from fallen branches with the fibres of the reeds by the lake, and went about felling the trees around the lake with them. Others shaped the flint down to a point and strapped them to long shafts made from the branches, and used them to slay the creatures in the lake, like fish and alligators, for food. Others still made ropes, and used them to capture and tame the camels that milled about the deserts.

Soon there were a small collection of huts formed from the mud around the lake, with a few pens for the camels they had tamed. The Sincans each had a job to do, and had paired off into couples.

Boron awoke, his eyes looked upon the frozen waste all he could see was hard ground and frozen lakes. He slowly, but surely made his choice on to mold the land before he bore creations. Boron, dug out tunnels for them to live in so they could avoid the harsh conditions of the northern tundra.

Boron thought this would be suitable shelter for the time being, his creation a dwarf sprouted out the stone in the tunnel and he appeared to them in the form of a fire. "I am your creator and your God! I have given you life! Follow me and you will never be lost, i'll grant you favors for your prays to me. If you fail to do so, I will not be as kind to you. Grow and prosper, I will be watching dwarves."

Volkhardt

He awoke once more, going to check on his creations. When he arrived where he last left them, he found a village, bustling with his creations that now numbered around 150. They had begun fishing from the lake as well as creating small houses for them to live in. He was proud of his work, but wished for more. He took aside one of the stronger and hardworking males, before appearing to him in human form. "I am your God, your creator. I created you so that you may strive to be a great people. I name you Heinrich, the first ruler of this land. You must lead your people to greatness with my aid." After this, he taught the man many things such as mining, hunting, writing, and creating. He taught him also of the dangers of the world, and how he would defend himself and other. After this he left the man, going to watch his peoples progress from afar.

Heinrich

I have been given leadership of the village, which I have named Honisberg, by our god today. He has taught me many things that I must teach to others. After my teaching is complete, I plan to create a mine so that we may dig ores out of the earth. Then, I will order the construction of a blacksmith to process these precious metals. I am also ordering the construction of a Great Hall, and farms. On these farms we are to grow and harvest crops called 'wheat and corn'. Our god has also reminded me of his importance, so I am going to construct a church for where our people can pray to him. He has also advised me of the cold weather that will come every year, so I have sent out hunters with flint spears to hunt and kill animals.

Tall stood Branyng upon the highest peak of the mountains he was born in. There was no place like this on the main continent, where winds of ice billowed between the mountains and the only livestock that could be kept were the absolute hardiest. He looked past his realm to the lush and green lands to his South and decided that they would be his. He would create a rugged people, one that would be able to live within their mountains until such a time as he could take better lands for them. He crafted the average Humans into something different; muscular and lithe, they would need the metabolism to keep active and the strength to move the snow. Their hair and skin colors were lightened and shaded for their environment, and they were given a resilience against their climate in exchange for a weakness in deserts. He would call them the Preuskil, and they would forge an Empire in his name.

"With blade and shield it is your destiny to claim a better life for yourselves. I have given you what you need to succeed, but you must enact it yourself. I am Branynyg, God-Sword of the Mountains, and this is my will."

The Preuskil first born found themselves near the southernmost edge of Branyng's domain, where the mountains met the few grasses they would own. They went about knocking down trees and creating tools with which to build, and were gifted language and survival skills by Branyng. They then moved towards the edge, building what would be the first fort, one of wood, of the Preusk Empire. One female quickly emerges as their leader, Joen Archa, and she organizes them into levels based on usefulness.

The Great Shepard has been watching his creation for some time now. He is happy with their progress. A small palisade has been built to keep the wolf packs and other beasts to enter, Although he was also sad his some of the Sejan stopped worshiping him after he stopped reveling himself. In a cloudy morning from within the clouds a burst of light is seen in the skies. He did not take Human form because he wanted to show how he still watched over them.A great booming voice was heard awakening all the sleeping Sejan the voice said:

"I am The Great Shepard, and you are my Lambs I see some of you have been losing your faith in me. Do not worry I have been always here! I've never left you my chosen people made from the marble of the mountains and the grass of these planes.I shall choose one! One to lead you and to lead my soon to be priesthood!"

There is silence for a few seconds the people stood in awe as they look at the booming light. The Shepard spoke again:

"Hadriana, you are a woman of immense faith! I choose you! You to lead my priesthood and my people! I ordaine you High Prophetess of the Sejan!"

From the rift a scroll is delicately sent down.

"Uphold my word! And I shall protect you! Disgrace it and with all the power that I have left I shall destroy you!"

The rift closes and Sejan all kneel to the High Prophetess.

High Prophetess Hadriana.

I have been chosen by our God, I shall start by making a few farms along the rivers so my people may eat. I shall send some man and woman to look for wild tamable animals like wild goats, our God as taught us how to tame animals.I shall also build more housing and a temple where I shall do some sacrifices once we have some goats. For now I shall collect herbs so that I may craft medicine in so that if my people fall ill I may heal them with my knowledge of herbs.

Event: World

At the words of the promise to not allow their children to wander in Death. The Northern Volcano shakes the foundation of the continent. A great scream is heard rising from its peak, piercing the ears of those across the lands. And from the billowing black cloud a great figure crossed the sky. As it passed over the Dwarven Tribes, another screech tore through the air, the bursting of crystalline ice could be heard.

It did not halt here however, it continued on across the sky, fog and fire spewing from its great wings. Soon it crossed the lands into Sejan, the final screech echoing against the mountains. The peoples went on to find the source, and behold the great beast had lowered and set upon the forest plains before The Great Shepherd.

The great beast was scorn by fire and covered in ash, its body steamed with immense heat. It stood before The Shepherd as a void, Ancient, Powerful, and Beyond Deadly and Horrific, sounded throughout the forest plains, though the Beast did not speak.

"I am Death, Keeper of the Dead, their Guide, Guard, and Holder. You have made a promise to withhold your children from Death, and this, I cannot and shall not allow. Remove your promise to withhold them from Death when their time comes, or you too shall join them when I claim them. You have until Zertune returns, fail this, and you shall never Herd your Sheep."

And the great beast Zertune's wings begin to flap, wind bellowing beneath it, fire, ash,and lava falling to the ground from them. In moments it was once more high in the sky, and a voice was heard across all land,

"Death holds no boundaries!"

And so it began.

The forest of Sejan was quickly flooded as the rivers overflowed with water.

The rocky hills of Preusk began to rumble with an earthquake.

The Lake of Honisberg began to recede, the rivers below it elongating and soaking the land.

The Northern Tundra grew colder and colder, ice chilling to the very edges of the fires.

The Rivers of the Swamp began to bubble with air as ancient serpents and carnivorous fish awoke.

The Desert of Sinet grew overbearingly hot, the fresh water lake began to steam into the air.

The mountains above Gimblewood began to shake and thunder as boulders crashed down them into the hills below.

The Sea of Nyth began to churn in all directions as ancient predators awoke from their hidden caves beneath the waves.

Within the Forest of the White Tower, screams, howls, and terrifying sounds erupted from the Forest above the Ravine.

The small Isle of Tyre began to shake as trees fell over and some caves collapsed as a fair earthquake came to life.

And on the small island between The Forest and Gimblewood, a great crashing of stone was heard, birds and beasts fleeing from the center of the island in pure terror.

And the Dragon Zertune returned to its perch atop the great Volcano, waiting and watching for its time to return.

The land had been prepared, it was by far more hospitable for human life then it had previously been. The Hermit of the Tower had been alive for longer then should be normal, and he has become ever so wise in his years of pondering. When he reached a full level of enlightenment, Shai'tan appeared before him in the tower.

"You are my first creation, and soon many will follow your foot steps. I have prepared the land for you, and have given you the gift of the soul. You can channel the spirits, where things live, you can channel. However, you must never partake in violence. You must be an example to mine, and now your, people. Show them the way from this tower, nurture them from this tower, rule from this tower"

With that he faded into the mist, and created people in his own likeness. Few at first, the Hermit emerged from the tower to teach them all he has learned. The clearings and rivers provided food and life, and were readily avail-be to be harvested. The tall, pale, willowy people were quick to learn, and started small communities amidst the tree tops. It was soon apparent Shai'tan had given certain people the gift of the soul, and the Hermit set to teaching them how to channel the spirits. Using it to make food grow faster, or change the course of rivers, people made living easier. It was soon apparent protection would be needed however. The newly formed Aes Sedai would be people who could channel after being given the gift of the soul. They could draw the essence of the spirits into them, and send it back out in any form they could manipulate it as.

Not all were given the gift of the soul however, and a warrior caste was created at the suggestion of the Hermit. The Aes Sedai would form special bonds with their chosen warder(s), granting them heightened abilities, but not the ability to channel spirits. The bond would be unbreakable and everlasting, and the warders were dedicated to their Aes Sedai.

With a relatively low population, the People of the Tower would continue to inhabit the hospitable forest around the ravine, and a certain caste chose to live in the honeycomb caves running the length of the ravine. None ever delved all the way down, for who knew what lurked in the depths. More scary however were the strange noises coming from above and around the ravine. People drew in, sticking closer to the White Tower and the Hermit. More chose to live in the caverns, as braver Aes Sedai and their warders protected the frontier.

QuickPost:

Great Shepard.

The Great Shepard looked angered by this "dragon". He comes into a form a man, his energy had been spent from the great rift in the skies. He spoke in a loud voice. It would reach the place from where the Dragon came. "I am their God. You do not tell /me/ what or not to do! Even so you must be mad. I did not promise them immortality, that is against the laws of nature, I promised my creation a place along side me when they die, I promised that they would be in my ethereal plane, even so you are a grain of sand compared to me! Your water will only make my lands more fertile!" He would rise back to his ethereal plane.

The High Prophetess.

Our home was almost drowned today. Our God went to our rescue. I shall gather people to build dikes to keep the water out.

OOC: Kaun could you tell me where exactly the rivers flooded?
