Sinhotep

Sinhotep speaks to the priesthood:

"Children, take the scrolls that spoke of Zeran to the Great Drake outside."

They do so, fearfully holding them in their hands up to the Dragon.

Event: Sinet

The Dragon simply looks down at them, smoke and ash falling from it. It then returns its gaze up towards the Temple.

At first the People are confused, but then terrified. Within the thick haze a figure begins to walk forwards, a cloaked figure with a robe that looks to be covered and sown with souls. Their long skeletal hands gripping a staff as they trek forward. Their footprints leaving behind burning sand of a dark flame.

They walk forward, holding their hand out to the people. The presence of this being casts the area in a shroud of Death.

High Prophetess Hadriana.

We feel something in the center...Something pulling us. I do not know what it is I shall consult with the Shepherd. Our tribe has had a few children, about 20. Not much but better then non. Our hunters and fisherman have gathered enough food for our people things seem to be getting better. Still we must continue going south, south for the promised land.

The Great Shepherd.

I continue to have some presence over the plains...My power is neither dwindling nor raising since my people still hold my as their God.The plains of my people are getting drier but with the new God over them it getting harder and harder to accomplish my goals.I can feel my people getting tortured in the Honisberg's prison I shall appear in their sleep with a message."My sheep do not steer from me. You had to sacrifice yourself not only for me but for your children and your wives and your mother and father. Do not take the God's of the outsiders that butchered tried to butcher you family. You will suffer at the hands of the enemy but remember this: Your death shall not be  forgotten." In my Prophetess sleep I told her to remember the brave soldiers that died defending their homeland. Hold them to great esteem. I also told her to sacrifice fish in a great bonfire for me. And I told her to bless everyone who holds me as their God.

((Since my people are landless I would like to ask if every 2/3 posts if I can do a kinda like progression type thing.Since my people can't really build anything it would just be moving and discovering the things that are in the swamp. If not that okay.))

Sinhotep

The Priesthood slowly walk over to the being, each one of them placing the scrolls in its hand. The Hunter-Knights and Ballistae anxiously look on, still ready to fire.

Da Viet and a now growing population of dwarves are alerted of the dark figures presence by a few watchmen. Da Viet summons the guard captain and 50 men armed with stone spears. As the leave the cave entrance, Da Viet steps towards the man, "Who are you! Stop and speak for yourself!" The guardsmen step infront of Da Viet to protect him from any harm.

==============

The dwarves mine into the side of the mountain to strike iron, gold and gems.

Event: Sinet

The figure grips the scrolls, taking them before opening and looking them over, 'Eld'Oan Era...'

The figure then holds the scrolls back into the smoke, they disappear within it.

"Did you find anything else, Sinhotep?"

He side glances at the military ready to fire, he lightly chuckles.

Event: Dwarf Tribes

The Figure continues to walk forward a fair ways, rather close to the dwarfs, the figure would tower over them, and even the Forest People if they were here.

"I am The Dark Prophet, First Child of Zeran, Lord of the Underworld. I am here to warn you, children. Those of a God now near you, have threatened the balance of Death once, Zeran will not be pleased if they are aided, and you would be less so, being so close to the island. As in addition to this, Do Not Heed The Swamp. Ancient things sleep there, that are best left undisturbed..." With that, the figure seems to turn to a dark mist, and vanish back into the blizzard.

Sinhotep

Sinhotep responds to Zeran, his anxiety growing:

"My people found ceremonial robes and armour, along with ceramics and golden coins. Most of the gold coins were smelted down for other uses, they are an industrious folk. Surely one of your power would care not for such material things?"

Event: Sinet

"I do not care of what you obtained, only what you found. If you find anything else such as this, tell me, otherwise, we will all be in danger."

With that, the figure turns back into the shroud of the Dragon. It's wings begin to expand as it begins to take flight. Sand spewing across the area beneath it as it rises higher and higher before heading North.

Reaction Post

Volkhardt

He smiles as the lakes problems are solved, the fields below the plateau become fertile once more. However, he shifts his gaze north, the sights dampening his mood. Fields slowly losing their harvest, farmers considering moving back south. He wouldn't allow it. He sent another message to Allahn. "Friend, my lands are being soiled by this Great Shepard. He clearly ignores me when I told him that I would hunt him down if he did such a thing. A promise I intend to keep. However, my people need the northern harvest if we are to grow and prosper. I ask of you one more gift, one that will rid the land of this curse."

Heinrich

Many good things have been happening in my Kingdom. The dams have been removed and the harvest is plenty here. This makes up for the lost crops in the North. No matter. I have sent a convoy of diplomats and soldiers North. Our god instructs us to be friendly with  the Northern mountain peoples. I hope the diplomats can establish some agreements. The castles of Miaz and Wilderstein are constructed and manned by garrisons. Wilderstein guards our northern mining and farming interests and Miaz watches the east. I favor Miaz castle slightly however. I large fortress, very difficult to breach. It also serves a rather darker purpose. We have moved the Senjanian prisoners to Miaz to be held there until they die or convert. Under the fortress lies a dungeon which, over the years, will hold many important prisoners.

Setherus

The wait for the other god's creations help is unbearable but Setherus accepts a partnership with Volkhardt. While waiting for his ally, Setherus gave Quetza the knowledge of war boats to across the waters. Setherus gathered the dead bones of the Spinosaurus and dirt, water and wildlife lizards to reconstruct two Spinosaurus renewed, tamable and slightly more smarter than their counter-part.

Nyth Collective.

The sea creature was listed as Setherus foe into the stones of Nyth Collective temple, it was forbidden to worship such a beast and will be sacrificed if found worshipping it. The Nyth Collective has began mining into their islands to discovered bronze beneathe the earth, they used the materials for construction of their buildings, mostly for their tools, weapons and fashion. Quetza ordered for construction of war boats given knowledge by Setherus, one of the fishing areas on the islands became site for the boats to be built. Outside the islands range is forbidden until the boats have been constructed, and future ports on the Nyth Collective's islands.

The population grew up to 15,000 while half of the population has became warriors and hunters for the Nyth Collective. To take a toll to the population numbers to avoid overcrowding the islands sacrificing the weak Nyths of all organs and burnt, this is judged when near adulthood and failed trails on surviving, fighting and strength without food. Strong lives, weak dies. The jungle islands are closely in becoming full in life of Setherus's creation.

A seed begins to form before Volkhardt, it glows with a green light. "Plant this seed within the cursed lands, it shall absorb this 'curse' cast upon it. However, you must plant it yourself, or it will consume any Mortal to touch it." Allahn looks across the lands from the top of the Great Tree, watching as his people prosper and those around him grow.

The Forestians send 300 people to Ruhenheim with many supplies, including stone, wood, food, and tools.

Some people claim to have now seen a Figure of Green Light walking near the Great Tree at night, no one can prove this claim to officials, but they are certain they see it.

Sinhotep

After Zeran and his dragon left, a collective sigh of relief swept over Sinet. After a while, the dreaded feeling that they might return subsided, and life returned to normal in Sinet.

========

Many years later, and the events of that day had largely faded into legend, though the Priesthood still kept recordings of it. The Sincan population in the capital had grown to some 10,000, whilst that of the coastal settlement was around 2,000. The ballistae were fitted to galleys which would escort the fishing vessels, however the Sincan forces soon found them to be rather ineffective. As such, a smaller, more precise version was created to help combat the sea-borne beasts, called the Skorpion.

810.jpg

The ballistae are still kept, though, and some were built upon the walls of the capital, and on the coast as a permanent defense fixture after the threat of the Dragon.

The size of the Hunter-Knight force is around 3,000 now, though hunting is starting to be phased out of society in place of farming. Despite this, they still play a prominent role in society, though the Knight in Hunter-Knight is what they largely play now.

An expedition into the swamp of around 100 Hunter-Knights is launched, to claim the land for Sinet. [MOD NEEDED]

The Grand Locust awakened late. He slept long, devising the perfect race to assert his dominance over the inferior races of this world. He first created his queen, an exercise of his will over the world, who would begin creating more of her spawn in the name of the Locust.

The Locust Queen (who may not be a locust, but can still fly) begins laying eggs, which spawn a variety of lifeforms, each egg looked over by The Grand Locust before being allowed to hatch.

The drones were the first to hatch. Land-bound creatures, whose primary directive was to gather food for the Hive, they prepared simple holes where the true breeding grounds would be set up.

Breeders then hatched out of some larger eggs. Still bound to land, they staffed the hatching grounds, keeping a steady supply of creatures to replenish those that died.

Third, a flying warrior caste hatched out of the last, largest eggs. They immediately were ordered to patrol the coast by the Queen.

The Grand Locust knew that his people could be guided well by the Queen, and as such withdrew from the world, allowing natural evolution to take his course besides the first few choices he made.
