I wasnt sure where to put this, but this is a good spot I think.

Hello Lotc'ers.

I've been on this server a good few years, and through that time my character, and im sure many of yours, have developed enough storyline to create a book. You see, I want to do just that. For the longest time I had dwelled on the idea of a graphic novel along the lines of the drowtales stories, but now I realise that that kind of projectis too large for just me.

Therefor I've decided to create an artbook. What is an artbook you may ask? Its simply a book full of art, but mine will be acompanied by a short narritive.

I've been looking at some self publishing websites and I believe that this is a project that Can be done.

How? It will need a bit of funding of course, which I think the best way to do this is through a kickstarter of some kind.
The perks would be copies of the book, art of your character, and of course a spot for your character in the book, perhaps a cameo or a bigger role.

Thoughts?

For any of you who want to see the type of art that would go into the book, check out my deviantart.

I'd love to see this happening tbh! I would possibly even donate too.

Also, remove the space at the end of the link, Leo.

I adore the idea but personally I believe you should tread away from the idea. While it's an extremely kind gesture towards the community and LoTC as a whole, taking on such a large project on your own (or with others) will have limited resources. Everyone here knows that it will take a considerable amount of time to produce. Truthfully I believe you should stick with doing commissions and the art you already enjoy making. Taking on the challenge of a book may put your love for this hobby jeopardy in the end.
