Can't be arsed to write a VA and certainly can't be arsed to play LotC where everyone's got a moral straightjacket on, so I guess I'm done for the meantime. Supremacy's got my Skype if anyone needs me and SirSmithers is in charge of golems.

I don't understand what is so hard to discuss in this situation. One look at the polls, or perhaps leowarrior's thread about refusing to accept VA's should be enough to get an answer to this unpleasant issue, shouldn't it? I have never, in my whole time on LoTC seen such overwhelming support for one option. In this case, the express removal of VA's.

Let them have their meeting you baboons. They literally are telling you that they are doing something about it and you guys are rioting. The staff, even the Administration, is not one person and they need to talk and make sure everyone is on the same page. Otherwise you get staff presenting mixed things&opinions which we all know how much you all like.

Only a small minority of people thought there was a problem with villain roleplay in the first place.

 

Only a tiny minority express any want for VAs.

 

A large majority believed Villain RP was fine before all this, and didnt need some sort of "solution" other than to actually ENFORCE what you already had.

 

A huge majority has already expressed that you need to remove VAs.

 

If there wasn't a problem in the first place in the eyes of the players, the people who you implemented this system for in the first place, and 90% of us are calling for their removal, why are VAs still a thing? Why does there need to be discussion?

There should always be a discussion. Meetings are what are helping the current staff get to know each other better and helps them work together. It's as much a growing & learning process as it is for decision making. If you don't want the crust then let them take the time to cut it off.
