• What MMORPG/video games have you / do you play? (Past and Present) Started with Risen and Diablo 2, as a little dude with my paps and now I´m playing Dragon Age - Inqusition and other german pen and paper roleplaygames

• What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member? At the moment I´m playing as Rudi Lupin, a human bard. He´s seventeen years old and tries to find his luck by making minas with his music. It´s my char for relaxing rp. Then I play Azraqi, an elder of the Shazadar family in the caliphate. He´s about to get in a tutoring position in the mosque. I hope that I find a way t keep them, or delet them for a limited time.

• What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain. I mostly played humans who were involved in political rp. But I would like to entertain the people in the smaller villages, so they don’t have to get on the main road to increase their chance of becoming part of an event. But I see this as a chance to learn more about the other races and cultures

• What do you believe are key factors for a successful event? In some rp´s I saw the event-managers managed to involve any player that were around. An event shouldn’t be something elite, where only the oldest player know what to do and solve the situation as fast as possible. No, to involve rookies and let them decide what to do, is the best way to introduce new players on the server and let them experience which possibilites you have, to end an rp. Then as a event manager, to prepare for unexpected plot twists. It´s quite usual that an action a participated player, changes the script. So as a manager we have to calm and enjy such unexpected actions.

• When was the last time you saw a event? It was an event where my former character  'Marcinoto Visconti' and some other people like 'Tessa' , hunted a harpy which flew over Petrus. It was a little but fun event.

• What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?I think one of my strength’s is t analyse mistakes and incoming errors. So I usually take a look over a script and give my opinion on it, by mentioning incoming mistakes that may happen. Im a pretty loyal person, I don’t like to backstab people and always support good ideas.

• Why do you want to be part of the ET? I want to give something back to the server and the people who made me laugh multiple times. Then I want to see the stories which are writing in books of my pen and papers adventures. how they look with acting people.

• Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

  • 1) For 1-3 person A little girl runs to an adventurer, yelling "My brother... He fell in the dry well !" The as brave he is follows the girl to the old dry well. He can hear a little boy’s voice shouting for help. A the hero climbs down the shaft, he realise that this isn’t just a dry well. Spiders have taken over the place as their brute room. The boy hangs in a web above him a huge spider. The hero as to defeat them to save the boy. The children thank him and let him rest in the farm of their parents which worried. The farmer offers the hero minas or a family heirloom

  • 2) For a group of 5-10 Near a public mine a dwarf shouts for help. He needs some strong men, to help him saving his friend who are trapped in the mine. He mentions that they won’t have much time to rescue them, because of the small amount of oxygen the miners have. The heroes can use their own pickaxes and shovels or can use a chest full of stone tools and torches. When they enter the mine it looks like a typical dwarven mine, with ores at all sides. The heros can, if they have the skill, mine all ores they can find. But as an event with a time limit its just wasting the remaining time. As the dig down, the giving route, they come across cave spider brut places, an underground lava sea and other problems  they ned to solve If the heroes manage it to save the dwarves in time, they all receive one of their pickaxes as a present and can of course keep the ores they already mined. If they fail, because they mined to much, or died. The first dwar, who wanted your help, waits with strong guards at the entrance and won’t let them go, until they give them all ores they have mined.

  • 3) For a group of 20+ A festival to celebrate the liberation of Urugan in Urugan. With colourful tents and shops, the guilds and races can show in rp, the newest player what they can do. At the end, a big firework. A event t make everyone enjoy the community. It´s officially managed by people of all races and during this period no warclaims are allowed. Attractions like orc wrestling, baking competition or a bard battle take place in the city.

• How long do you plan to stay in the ET? Now that I have the time, until the uni starts, I would say about 4 months at least.

In my experience, Eric has been extremely contributive to the cause of providing better Roleplay on this server. Let it be OOCly or RPly, his rationality , maturity and ability to properly step in his role and allow others to immerse in it is simply a talent I do not often see. Although we can never know what the real intentions of the Germans are, I see no harm in giving him a shot to be apart of a team that I believe truly fits him.

I think Eric has all the qualities required for this /position/ as well as a great personality which is clearly reflected in his application. I've known him for a while now and he has always been disposed to help me, even with things which have nothing to do with the server.

EricderRote is a good friend of mine, seeing his awesome ideas implemented into the server would be great, bringing the community together is a must for the lotc community I think this man would make a great addition to the Event team :)
