Aegis was 1.0, right now Athera is 4.0 and what makes the "*.5" are temporary maps or transition maps into the 'main' maps. So, 4.0 would mean staying in Athera. 4.5 would mean having a temp/transition map and 5.0 means straight to a brand new 'main' map.

I'm sorry for all the tech team that put all his efforts on programming the nexus plot thing... because a lot of people don't like it, not because it doesn't work or it's bad programmed, we just prefered it before :(

I guess that without the nexus plot plugin, the map changed every week becasue everyone could build everywhere (with a few exceptions)

The nexus plot plugin is not an issue. How it has been implemented is the issue. Being able to tax members, see who and who not is active, and control who can do what on a plot is rather nice for city/nation leaders.

 

Just... in the next map, please place them LOGICALLY.

Take your discussion of nexus plots out of this thread, it will only spiral out of control and get locked with the reason "We are looking into nexus" when this isn't about that. Thank you.

That aside, I do believe a new map would be nice. But as Read said on a previous thread, new maps take time. And transition maps are ****, such as Thales. And new maps always means a decline in RP quality as most people stop caring about what happens on the current map. Such as how the Fringe deteriorated, same with Thales when Athera drew closer.

Given that we create an entirely new map (again) instead of using one which already exists? As in, there are many premade maps, inquiring for permission to use a specific one should not be too much of a hassle, no? Has been tossed around in the feedback section already.
