Personality: Garahel is quite proud and vehemently defensive of all he is proud of. He is also quite vain and egotistical, determined to ensure his good looks (and his immense wealth) are noticed. He often displays a fairly sarcastic and unrespectful demeanor, almost mean sometimes. He sometimes uses his sarcasm as a shield against people, not allowing his heritage (being the son of the rebel King Maric Varodyr) to be used against him, often repeating the line “I inherited my father’s kingdom, but not his crown,”. Ever since he was a young boy he had always had an obsession with knighthood and honouring oaths and his words, holding those values very highly. He is somewhat ambitious and goal driven, but his ambitions and goals might be considered quite base and petty. Sometimes, he can also be somewhat hot tempered and aggressive in his retaliation.

 

Inventory: The family sword, Witchbane, a darksteel bastard sword. A worn silver badge in the shape of a falcon. A reinforced heater shield, painted with the colours and sigil of House Varodyr (sky blue, a silver falcon and gold star) and trimmed in steel. A pouch of gold, various keys, patents of gentry and heraldry. A small, thumb sized scroll strapped to his belt, it’s contents reading the Knight’s Code of Chivalry.

-Born to King Maric Varodyr the Stormlord and Ayana Horen in Angren.

-Was smuggled from Angren on the day of the Undead Assault by his mother.

-Grew up in Aldersberg with his Jrent cousin until the age of 9.

-His mother died and Teagan was found by his aunt, taken to be raised in the Horen manor.

-Survived in Aldersberg woods, foraging and poaching rabbits.

-Found by Father Branaford and taken to Owynswood as “an orphan”.

-Daycared by Lorina Carrion and the de Montforts for a brief time.

-Taken by Prince Leufroy de Savoie to be raised elsewhere, recognising Garahel for who he was.

-Raised in Banard for a year, met Visant and Nikolas de Savoie. Met Hugues de Montfort and Godwin Myre in Leeuvarden.

-Sent to Siegrad to squire under Lord Karl Barbanov, son to his father’s nemesis.

-Encountered his uncle Dederick Varodyr, knight of the church.

-Squired for eight years in the snow, learning how to be noble, of historical knights, the code, the arts of warfare and combat, how to ride a horse among many other things.
