What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The rule I agree with most is the first rule of community conduct. I hate it when people start throwing insults at me while I'm trying my best to RP or cope with a situation, so that's why I believe that is the best rule for me. 

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?:  I don't really get what there is to plagiarize, since RP is usually from yourself and not from other sources. However, I don't know if this rule applies to skins. I didn't custom make my skin since I don't really know how to, so I just searched for one and used it. Would I get in trouble for that? 

 

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Research. I really like writing stories and books, so I thought I would give RP a try. RP for me seems like an interactive story, where I get to choose what the main character does. The main thing I would like to get out of this experience though is improvement on my writing and story telling abilities. How I believe this would help my writing is that it would help me understand how different characters would react to certain situations, giving me a valuable insight. 

 

Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Acting as a different person. 

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is similiar to acting like God, in the regard of knowledge. 

For example, you just happen to know IC about top secret information that a council of High Elven were talking about despite you not being related at all to that specific RP. 

 

What is powergaming?: Acting like God in regards to combat. 

An example of powergaming is a person using an Kamehameha to kill like 50 guys by himself. 

 

In-Character Information

Character’s name: Katari "Sonar" Leaf

Character’s age: 20

Biography: 

Katari "Sonar" Leaf was born around the time when the first Wood elf rebellion against the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or began. One day, an elderly couple residing in a farm near The silver city found a strange child with long, point ears crying in the woodlands. With the couple being infertile and wishing for a child, they took the boy in. Years past, and the boy never found out about his heritage or about the conflicts between high elves and wood elves that had transpired over his life. However, when King Andrik Vydra was murdered in the Silver City by the High elves, the family was unfortunately stuck in the middle of the oncoming war. Fearing for their adoptive son's life, they Sonar about his heritage, and how they found him in the neighboring plains. With this knowledge, they sent him away in hopes of a better life for the young elf, to not be scarred by the terrors of war and torture. To this day, he still travels....

 

              Throughout his travels, Sonar learned how to do many things. His skills range from simply cleaning to actually being able to sword fight. However, he is never able to fully master any skill before he has to move on to the next town. 

This changed however when he met a fellow woodland elf girl at a bar one day. The two participated in a drinking game, with the wager being free lessons in archery and free running. As Sonar won, the elven girl taught him how to use a short bow, as well as being able to jump from roof to roof. 

Unfortunately, as soon as he became adept at the subjects his teacher had taught, she disappeared without telling Sonar her name. He grew depressed, and started to train his archery and free running abilities in hopes of one day meeting her again and showing off his prowess. 

That is where he is now, searching the lands for his teacher in hopes of talking with her once again, along with his family.  

 

 

Note: I apologize if this doesn't fit in entirely with the Elven Lore, but as I couldn't understand it fully, I tried my best. Sorry

Personality Traits: 

- Is a generally relaxed and laid-back individual, but usually feels more nervous and self-demeaning on the inside.

- Doesn't like to fight, but isn't a full on pacifist either. 

- Is shy around girls he deems nice or pretty. 

- Was raised by humans, so he tends to hate Elven Stereo types. He tries everything he can to seem like a human. He also doesn't like to discuss his heritage, as he feels somewhat alienated from other species when he does. 

 

Ambitions: He secretly wishes to someday find a partner of romantic interest and settle down one day to write a book. His main goal however is to see his family and mentor once again. 

 

Strengths/Talents: 

+Is a jack of all trades, master of none. (This means he can literally do anything, but has no field of expertise)

+ The only outstanding traits he has are archery and free running. 

+ Is observant and can make a quick analysis 

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

-This trait is also his weakness, as he does not have a specific area of expertise besides archery or free running. 

Ex. He would be able to take down a foot soldier in a sword fight, but would be easily defeated if paired up against a seasoned veteran. 

- Can sometimes over analyze things and make a big deal out of absolutely nothing. This may seem trivial, but can actually be pretty deadly.

For example, he would think a diplomat would be trying to murder another if the guards are sent outside of a meeting room. This would in turn lead him to take action, thus creating a big problem, 

 

Appearance: 

Sonar stands at 5'7, and has light tan skin. He also has bright blue eyes, as well as short brown hair. He has distinctively pointy ears.

To hide his elven features, Sonar usually wears a green robe, with a hood covering his ears.
