Rael 935 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Ser Ehrick Elderon stands with his robed brothers, amongst the vanguard of Savoyard forces. A humble, passive semblance did these masked men exude, bearing simple crosses of wood and twine at their throats. When the signal, forwards, was given, the anonymous fellows did reveal their identity, removing their mottled attire to expose rusted armor, garb that had truly seen a better day. Worn yet reliable tabards adorned their hearts, a crimson Cross of Lorraine stalwart against the invading hordes. United once more, these brothers, these kin through servitude did march on with reinvigorated might. - - - The battle was a mess. Mixed shrieks of dying, horse and man alike, flooded the field, bringing invigoration to some while sapping bravery from others. Ehrick found himself swept across the scene of war, his tired body serving Him to its greatest ability. Sword through sinew, arrow through flesh, war is not kind to the servant, one with little gain more than achieving the Master's nod. The old man fell, another form in the field, to be swept over by the storm. "Here! This one still breathes!" Ehrick's form is roughly turned to face the grey sky, attire further worn and torn by the soft earth. His tabard seeps red, akin to the muddied Cross at his chest. "Brother..I did not see you fall." Ehrick draws his dry, cracked lips together, amounting energy for speech. "A servant serves until he can no more. I have done my part." The sky, grey, engorged on the lifeblood of man and earth alike, grows in intensity. "Finish it."
calculusdesola 1658 Share Posted August 15, 2015 "Good night sweet prince.." uttered the cracky lips of Titus de Sola, as the Crownland storms began to waver east, the rivers of blood washed away by the Creator's torrents. Still, His Majesty's battle standards did wave in the dusky, rainy grey sky, the mustang flags of de Sola and Dour Watch, too. The Baron looked upon his fallen comrade, having known him since his days as a page and squire in Angren. In a time when Ehrick was known as hero of Man, respected by all, and Titus a champion to Renatus. In this servant's honor, no less? "It was a good day to be alive, ser."

Imam Faiz Kharadeen 3167 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Faiz Kharadeen hears word upon those that lost their life upon the battlefield, the name Ehrick ringing throughout his mind as he frowns deeply, wiping his scimitar clean of blood "Ehrick was a good man, a loyal man.. May he find true peace within the seven skies. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon, rahmatallah alayk.." he sighs, sheathing his blade away as he speaks a prayer to the soldiers around him before turning to leave the battlefield.
