It was a dark and gloomy night, Maxwell was riding a cart to Oren.
The horses veered off of his path without his notice. He hopped out of the cart,
squinting his eyes. A dark figure shouted at him "Halt!" Rain poured and
lightning struck from the sky. Maxwell's iconic quiff was ruined and unkempt.

Maxwell stopped, being groggy from the midnight ride, before replying "W-what?"
He looked around when the realization set in that he was at the wrong place. The dark
figure then reached for a bastard sword, ripping it from it's sheath. "W-what are you
doing!" He'd shout, but nobody was around to hear him. Maxwell slowly began to move
backwards and reaches for his own blade, but realizes that his own blade was missing.
Where had it gone? He must've left it at home.

The figure, now distinguishable as a person, lunges, swinging his sword in an arc for
Maxwell's neck. Maxwell barely sights the blade swinging to his neck. He stupidly slams his body
on the floor, just barely dodging the swing. Maxwell blinks, slowly pushing himself back.
He begins to rub his thumb and forefinger together as a nervous reaction. He bites
his inner cheek watching as the man would raise his blade. "Tell your gods Rodrick says hello."
The man uttered with a hiss, before lodging his blade into Maxwell's abdomen.

"Yuln..." Maxwell's life would slowly begin to exit his body, only having a brief few
moments left. His life would begin to flash through his eyes, from his father physically
abusing him in Anthos, to his best days of his life, to his worst days in life, to marrying
Kenneth, to losing Kenneth, to killing his sister, to joining Saint Amyas, to joining Sylverport, but most importantly,
to meeting Yuln. "I'll never stop protecting you, Yuln." His final words would escape
his mouth. His eyes roll back into his head, and when the man slams his blade into
Maxwell's neck, the man utters

"Filthy sodomite scum."

And with that, Max's life ends with a bright white flash. This time, the monks would not be saving him.

((It's been a good 2 1/2 years guys. Max was a very special character to me. I put
a lot of time in to him and it makes me sad to end him, but I know it's for the better.
It's time to move on. See you around on my other characters guys.
Special thanks:
Christian2142 - For providing me with a place to fit in
Altiak - For giving me fun roleplay back in my Amyas days
Clegg_ - For being a good friend back in my Amyas days
VodkaBitters - For being a friend of Max back in Anthos
Cooliomafia - For convincing Taynuel to let Maxwell date Yuln
KibagoKid - For being a strict parent
And for many more.
I'm gonna go cry now. ))

Somewhere, Quinn Falk grinned maliciously, clutching his bastard-sword.
"Another one down."

Yuln strolls across the road, his eyes widening quickly as he sees the body on the floor. His lips begin to quiver and his body begins to shake, a tear comes rolling down from his eye. He kneels down, clutching Maxwell's hand firmly, opening his mouth to speak but collapses backwards in depression before he gets the chance.

Marcy's eyes widen, freezing in place as she'd just hear of the death of an old friend. "Maxwell.." the words escape her lips in a soft whisper, he'd been almost a mentor you could say to her. Marcy blinks a few times her gaze going to her feet as she'd go back in time, her mind endlessly wrapping around the thought, in reality she'd just caught herself having stumbling back a few papers scattered on the floor that was once on her desk. "Ho-.. ow..?" Marcy cries out, falling forward onto her knees, he'd hurt her physically back in Athera, soon to become a close friend- Yet he'd been a role in her life. A friend, brother, enemy. "T-.. Three part fool, three part brave." Marcy sobs out, making a sign of the Lorriane cross on her chest her other hand reaching into a pouch and tossing two rings across the rooms she'd offer Maxwell and Yuln years ago. "I told ye to do it before it was too late."
