Revocation of Titles

It is declared on this day, that the individual known as Caspar de Gueux is herein stripped of all Knighthood, in accordance with His Imperial Majesty, and the Code of Chivalry which has endured for time and time again. We regret that this decision has come to pass, but this decision is final. Caspar de Gueux is forever barred from the ranks of the Gentry, as are his children, and his children’s children until the stain is removed from his name and that of his family. May God find it in His eternal mercy to forgive him, for we shall not.

Caspar de Gueux is unable to appeal this decision, and only the retrieval of a true relic, a miracle, and a martyrdom will remove the stain from his name.

Denis frowns as he receives the missive, twisting to face his father before uttering a reply to the message within.

"Infighting is never becoming of men; especially between such loyal retainers as this pair. Now is no time for hounds to bay within our door whilst another horde amasses beyond."

"Would you look at that, he can write and he has the guts to follow through with his threats. I'll be damned." Comments Caspar de Gueux in the Geldern dining hall. Caspar rises from his chair with a frown on his face as he goes to gather his gear "But there is a silver lining, now I won't have to bother with that troublesome chivalry nonsense anymore." He jests to his fellow bannermen while on his way.
