Hey guys, I've been trying to come back for awhile now and I've gotten online a bunch of times over the past couple of days. Everytime I'm walking through Orc lands, I see nobody. I seriously have not seen one Orc. When is our peak time? Do we even have one? Just wondering, because I would like to be able to RP with you guys if at all possible.

Elves at least, are pretty active. Always 5-10 people in the city at peak times, if not more. We average about 100-150 people at peak hours which is alright, it should increase with people getting on winter holidays.

Thanks, but I was just trying to know what the deal is for the Orcs.

Orcs are painfully inactive, this probably has something to do with all the main rp figures being inactive combined with a focus on pvp.

I'll sort you out. (this may come across as quite sour grapes, and it kind of is)

We've regressed. There was a period where we were actually active af because we RPed, we had domestic stuff going on and what not and rich culture that was being acted out. This is no longer the case. Basically we once again live for PvP, wars, raids etc, so when those arent going on we have nothing to do.

This is a result of several things.

1. The way people in power do things

2. Influx of PvP alts

I could elaborate but it doesnt really bother me at this point, Orcs are once again on the down hill, its sad really.

I know you were most active in the 'golden age' when Orc RP was awesome and there was always loads of sh!t going on. To be blunt, its not like that anymore

I'm not an orc, but I believe lore-based events such as all that spirits stuff you have i.e shamanism, great hunts, or whatever both promotes your culture and promotes RP instead of straight PVP, which can get both new and players more invested in the playerbase. Just my two cents.

Stuff like that has been done. Our current situation in that regard is the fact that our leaders do not organise such things and also the attitude of the playerbase themselves. Theres some behind the scenes sorcery (ooc) that is going on that I dont believe needs to be revealed because I think the people involved are cool cucumbers, but nevertheless, theres more to it.

I personally believe orcs are the most inactive descendant race because of timezones. Also there is way too much pvp these days especially with the orcs, all that the orcs talk about is, hey are you ready for the next warclaim? I just wish we could say something like, hey we showed those necromancers yesterday. Anything that doesn't have to do with wars please I beg you.

The few that are usually active as Orcs; some were offline but we had a meeting today about production in the Uzg, we are plan to start relying on one another for things we might need and start donating to the community. We are wanting to build up the power of the Uzg economically, but we need to get things sorted and what not and are also yet to find a Yazgurten. But going along the lines of rp, that's one of the reasons I applied for ET, so I can help make things exciting within the Uzg keeping people interested in a rich orcish roleplay rather than using them for PvP alts which is kind of sad that they are used in such a way but that's reality.

There's been some bad luck with Orc leadership lately - the new rex, DPMAGICIAN, he had his internet get shut down and should be back in a few days. I myself am working 40 hour weeks, so I've been struggling to get on. Our last rex (until about a week ago) underwent surgery so he wasn't online much. Tbh, a week ago we were fine on activity.

Y'all dipped really surprisingly quick because of these aforementioned OOC bumps and dips in the road. The problem will stay that way if people jump ship that fast.

Are we active pt. 2?

Activity is looking a lot better. We had maybe 8-10 orcs screwing around at the same time yesterday, and the Rex is active now.

Really? I haven't seen anything but alright. Most of what I've been looking at is the forums. Is there a Skype chat or something? I'd like to be added.
