thesmellypocket 1859 Share Posted February 21, 2016 "Blood for d'Amaury." Ser Francois said tearfully, his old liege dead. "God rest his soul. Creator forgive us for wroth, but now is the time for retribution."
monkeypoacher 8055 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Somewhere, in the distant south, a one-eyed Raevir boy sprawls out on a silk cushion, taking in a breath of musty cactus green. The travel from Felsen was tiring.

Glocky18 545 Share Posted February 21, 2016 The Knight would be sleeping on his bed alongside with his pregnant wife, when his courier arrived to his castle to deliver the sad news to Ser Demetrios. The castle's guards would wake up the knight, slowly so they wont interrupt the pregnant woman. They all go down to open the gates for the courier so he could deliver the sad news to Ser Demetrios himself. "M'lord Demetrios, I'm here to announce you that the Archduke is no longer with us, he is dead..." Demetrios would sit on the nearest chair and starts thinking and mumbles to himself. A few moments later he decides to send a generous ammount of minas to the Archduke's family for a great tomb, the greatest in Vailor for such a man he was. "My trusted friend, please send this pouch and this letter to the Archduke's family." The courier nods, mounts on his horse and begins his long journey. To the Archduke's family "I'm sorry for your lose, with this letter I've also sent a pouch full of minas. Please take them and build the greatest tomb for Archduke Augustus D'amaury, for he was a great man, a man of honor and brought us to many victories. It's the least I can do for him and for you. Take care and may the Creator guide you, and him." Signed by Ser Demetrios Palaiologos The courier delivers the letter with success.
Cleggmire_ 130 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Ser Aymer hears of yet a third reverberant death, before he'd finally throw aside the document given to him by the courier, scowling farcely as wroth turns to a conflagration in his glower. "Blood for Ashford, Blood for d'Amaury."

lawnmowerman 3040 Share Posted February 21, 2016 A careworn Ser rides for Lorraine on an obsidian colored destrier, two men donning the traditional Roke tabard bestriding by his side. The one-eyed Roke soon reaches the rebuilt fortress of Barrowyk, dismounting his warhorse, ushering the two footmen along. The portcullis is heaved up - The trio from Nessvelt entering Summerhall, encountering the widow, alongside Augustus' heir and his bastard brothers. Rhys pays his condolences to the Butcher of Brelus' family and closest friends. Whereas Kazik... Kazik's grey eyes are locked on the unraveling scene displayed before him, Adrians and corrupt Felsenic guardsmen circling the grizzling Archduke, knives, clubs and utensils swinging, jabbing and bludgeoning the veteran's figure. His lips shake spitefully, grip around his kopesh' pommel tightening as he keeps his spine pressed against the wall he hid behind. A sudden 'BOOM' ringed in his ears, ground vaguely shaking as bits of stone and chips of wood flew past his youthful face - His blade is wrenched free from its' loop as he jogs towards the sound's source, only to briskly slip an arm under Edgar's limp and bloodied frame, nodding towards Tibor and Franjo as they assisted him loyally. He darts out of the capital, head tilted briefly over his broad shoulders, words slipping out of his maw, tone filled with rancor and sorrow. "The fiery embers grow, Felsen. Your grave is steep, and will only get steeper." He hollers out a common byword, one that many heard in the city that very night. "Blood for Ashford - Blood for d'Amaury."
Sargeblub 78 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Ser Robert Knolles, resting within Summerhall, offers a warm grin to the small courier boy that has just recently brought him a note. As the man-at-arms reads over the note his happy smile falls from his face. "Those dogs!" Ser Robert would exclaim as he pounds his right fist against the table beside him in an uncharacteristic show of anger. "By my hilt! These black villains will surely face retribution befitting of the actions that they have done upon the good Archduke! Blood for Amaury!"

bumblefina 2766 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Eleanore's sobs ring out through the keep, not Summerhall, but Geldern. Like her mother before her, she wept for a father lost to treacherous murder. Her heart felt hollow, her mind burdened. Comforted only by the Ashford walls around her, she took in a shaking breath and muttered out a call for justice, "Blood for Amaury. Blood for Ashford. Ave Humanity."
