In vanilla minecraft, maps can be expanded using the crafting bench and paper. But because we cant use crafting benches, how do I make the maps zoom out? I've asked cyber_king3 and Leowarrior14 for help a few days ago, but I figured maybe someone on the forums would know!

Why even use the map when you have Dynamic Map? That's why no one is responding I think.

LoTC's Dynamic Map

I believe you have to use a ingame command to make yourself visable though.

you can't put a dynmap on a wall with display frames, can you??????

My character is a cartographer! I make and sell maps with books on the location.

If you haven't realized yet, a zoomed in default map is actually awful and isn't a map at all. Its like a giant puzzle piece :(

Its been almost 2 weeks now, is there no solution to it?

And shift right clicking doesn't work....

So, like, when you shift right click a crafting bench the 3x3 menu should be brought up. Is that happening for you, or not? If so, can you do the expanding with that?

If you get any banner, shift right click the work bench the regular craft table should come up. Whether or not this works because of nexus I am unsure.

Try right clicking a crafting bench with a banner in your hand, that opens up the default 3x3 crafting bench and you should be able to craft the expanded map normally, if that doesn't work I'll give you the locations of some default crafting benches and if that also doesn't work, i'll add in a crafting recipe into nexus for expanded maps

I tried, it doesn't work ;;
