herculean_wud 3662 Share Posted April 5, 2016 Clan Fud “The one with the bread leads the pack.” Introduction: Many Clans have been erected and many have collapsed during the centuries of the War Uzgs amassed history. From primarily goblin clans, to ones of warriors, or great shamans, clans have always been a prevalent denomination of orcish culture, yet never has there been one of predominantly olog composition. Instead, the feral beasts took residence under the wings of the amplitude of other clans that exist today. They were mainly used as a tool, always regarded as stupid or incapable. Though this isn’t far from the truth, the ologs still uphold the same mentality as the other uruks. And thus, the Grubgoth of the Uzg, Chef Wud has begun work to bind ologs as brothers under a single banner. That of Fud. And so, the mighty olog amounted a grouping of his kin: large, small, old, young, red, grey, blue, green, beasts, and they chanted, oh did they chant. The barren plain erupting into a sonorous symphony of guttural tones, which echoed throughout the uruks’ homeland, ricocheting off buildings and filling rooms. The ologs had grouped, and had fabricated a force to be - somewhat - reckoned with. “wuD. bUb-hOZH!” The Grubgoth roared! “nUb, ‘fuD’ bUb-hoZh.” The grouping replied! Relevance of Glutroz: Glutroz, the spirit of gluttony, greed, and food, a perfect spirit for a band of selfish, hoarding beasts to worship. Everyday an offering is to be provided to aid the Grubgoth in his cooking. Or so he says. . . He likes to tell the other ologs that the food offerings will Aid in the preperation of his stews and soups, though in reality he devours what is left by the amplitude of ologs whilst they slumber. ‘Culture.’ Relevancy of the flattener The flattener, a versatile weapon fashioned of a strong zkahiron alloy lump, shaped like an anvil, and fixed to a sturdy black ferrum shaft. All in clan Fud are expected to wield one as it is both a powerful and strong weapon. Additionally the weapon possesses a key role in orcish history and culture, being one of the crude, yet scarily efficient weapons devised in ages past. Cave paintings As a method of telling stories to each other, besides using little to no good vocabulary, the ologs use drawing. They scrawl on the walls of their caves, or upon the countenances of rocks to depict stories and encounters each of the ologs had come across. Of course the images are often comprised of crudely prepared paints and dyes, wet mud, or of different coloured minerals. They are applied with poorly wrought utensils, though, despite the above points, the end product are sometimes quite awe inducing. Clan Ranks As Fud is a clan of primarily olog composition, Ranks aren’t necessary or even particularly recognized, though two stand. Grubgoth The Grubgoth, literally translating to ‘Foodlord’ is a general rank of the Rex’s council, and rank amongst clan Fud. It is the equivalent to Warchief or Wargoth within the clan. Grunt Grunt - Simply put anyone that is below Grubgoth.
