RoleplayEngine v1.4 – Focus-Mode

Hey guys,

 

 

I'm back from a short hiatus, figured I'd meet everyone with some content from my name. I've also prepared a video as to what this focus-mode is and how to use it, it is available as a donator perk for all of you who are Iron VIP and above. If you've ever been exasperated trying to keep afloat of your current roleplay with an overflowing OOC channel that you don't want to miss out on you can stay in both and keep your sanity with this perk.

It's something that is most certainly useful, but we've been living without it for 5 years so as far as I can tell it is not crucial to the experience. Giving our VIP's the treatment they deserve for helping us keep the server alive is the only thing that will keep our server running, especially with the EULA perk-cuts.

I think we both know that would be unrealistic. It's either do or die as a server.

Valid reason as I know you are looking to make sure you can replace some of the perks that will be gone due to the eula. It just sucks for those who can't donate. I really do like the idea of it, seems to easy to manage and can give your chat a clean up so it becomes easier to read(As during my long years here have been sometimes a struggle and keeping things straight especially in fast moving chats).

 

So I guess at least people who donated get this awesome perk as it beats having to go through hops or waiting for chat mods(Which some I tried are just painful to use).

Only complaint i have is not everyone is going to want to put extra money in the server just for this as a VIP. There are free mods that allow people to do the exact same thing

Confirmed I can't use this to break into broadcast chat.

 

I can still **** post the devs through the console though. You will never escape from that.

I was just about to suggest not focusing on RP chat as l-OOC is used for clarifying RP (Or at least should be, looking at all you meme spewing children)

Don't get me wrong, this is convenient and all...but whatever happened to showing character names instead of Mc names, not to mention are there any plans for mpm in the future? Not too sure if these have been answered, so excuse me if they have.

While I wont be using it, due to personal preference, it's a nice addition and a lovely little perk for VIP and while people wouldn't purchase specifically for this, it's a nice bonus.
