A Grudge Overdue

Let it be officially taken down into the Book of Grudges on this day,  The 14th of The Grand Harvest, 1558, that we levy grievance and hatred upon the name of Thomas Ruric and all those who would call him master.

The crimes of Thomas Ruric the Two-Faced are presented as followed:

 

Betraying his liege, the Jarl of Avar, Fimlin Grandaxe by abandoning oath and post to selfishly pledge allegiance to the Holy Empire of Oren in exchange for protection.

 

Assisting in the invasion of the sovereign lands of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

 

Unlawfully seizing land and constructing forts on Avar outside lands chartered by the purchase of his territory shortly before his betrayal.

 

Performing attacks on citizens of Avar and Clans Grandaxe and Irongrinder.

 

Attempted theft of Irongrinder naval vessels.

 

Attempt at selfishly using his position to gain more power within Avar and expand further west.

 

Assisting in the siege and capture of Castle Jarnstrand and Kal’Valen.

The grudge will be settled when the Ruric family and vassals are expelled from the island of Avar and Thomas Ruric’s death and humiliation. Only when these terms, carried out by these signatories, are met will the grudge be settled.

"It's not the same line though, it's a different one, Edvard Thorsson was usurped by the Rurics for his disloyalty and lack of honor back in the days when we were still a kingdom!" Robbie says in reply. "These Grandaxes and Irongrinders have got it all wrong."

he old Wizard stops for a moment, leaning upon his staff as he sees a large group of people arguing with each other in what he can only assume to be the hall of Grudges. Rubbing his head as he looks onwards at Dwarven scribes holding books whilst arguing with all manner of Dwarves and men he would wonder what the nether was going on. Rubbing his bearded chin at the strange sight before him. Before shrugging it off, listening to the whispers upon the wind, continuing to follow them once more.

((This is merely a listing in the Book of Grudges. Rply, no race other than dwarves would have access to it. They would instead hear about it from dwarves who would have seen it, if they are told at all.))
