Durakhan'Braduk

 

IC:

Clan Braduk, son of the late Wargoth and Rex Kahn'Braduk and the Clan Mother Lukra'Braduk. Younger brother to Wargoth and Targoth Mok'han'Braduk. Like all of the Braduk bloodline he is tall and heavy set, a good foot above other orcs and has piercing and keen blue eyes. He shows more of his mother in him than his brother Mok'han; his skin is slightly brighter than the usual dark green shade and he is a little shorter but nonetheless easily recognised as a son of the fearsome Kahn.

 

Coming up on 20 years old, Durakhan has spent the last few years in the deserts, living off the land, testing himself against the elements with only his strength and the spirits to guide him, and the companionship of his rhino. Now, after years of isolation he returns to his clan and the Uzg. Perhaps he felt the recall to return due to the death of his father, or perhaps it was simply time to make his mark on the world.

 

OOC:

Durakhan is basically a blankslate character ideal for someone who wants to return to Orcish RP or a dedicated newcomer to the race who wants to give Orc RP a serious go. No-one has ever played this character and the RP that has involved him has been sparse with detail about his personality and actions. Feel free to create the skin however you like based off the description shown, it's up to you or we can provide you with a skin. He has his Braduk rhino but its name, appearance and temperament are up to you.

 

There are a number of routes I can see for the character, to give you an idea, but how you play him is of course up to you. Spending a lot of time alone in the desert, Durakhan could have developed a deep appreciation for the spirits and the natural world, stirring an interest in shamanism. His experience could have made him a great and single-minded hunter, destined to be amongst the greatest the Orcs have ever seen. Perhaps he faced down a mighty beast and comes home scarred and battle-hardened. Perhaps he feels that it is finally his place to live up to his father's glory.

 

My only request is that you play him as a proper orcky Orc. Don't send him down the whitewash route for no reason - it creates unnecessary drama and would be completely uncharacteristic of an Orc who has spent the entirety of his formative years in the mentality of the Uzg and the conformity of the Braduks. For this reason I'll be a bit picky with applicants and would ask for no-one completely new to the server, so no-one who's only joined within the last month.

Durakhan also has a blessing from Wargoth Grothmar'Gorkil that he is destined for greatness! It doesn't really make much of a difference, but use that to spice up your RP.
