On Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs

The Church of Canon was created through the will of our lord using human hands as his builder. His prophets were born of men and a grand majority of his faithful are sons and daughters of Horen. Nowhere in his infallible word does our lord mention the races of Elf, Dwarf, or Orc. It is clear that God has set aside the human race as his people. Why then do we waste our time preaching to false ears?

Predestination is widely accepted throughout the church, and it is reasonable why. Our lord knows all, plans all, and creates all; therefore he knows our choice of whether to follow him or not. Yet it is still our choice to make, whether to humbly serve The Creator or not, as he has blessed us with free will. There is no shred of evidence that this gift of free will has been gifted to any other of the humanoid races we share this world with.

We must deconstruct and categorize what evidence there is to free will. Is it our ability to build, for even a wasp can create a nest. Is it our ability to work together and live in community, for even the wolf can hunt in a pack, and ants work for a common goal. Is it even our ability to speak and create thought, for a parrot can speak wisdom though it will only be an echo. A base definition of sentience is not possible for anyone but our lord, and so we must draw some conclusions if we are to answer this riddle.

There is no denying that The Creator made all beings, including the elven, dwarven, and orcish races, but like all other animals that were put on this world, they act purely through instinct and self preservation. The only whims of these races are those that nature has developed within them in order to further the survival of their race.

Simply put the races that we have long seen as peers have no knowledge of good and evil, no ability to choose, and nothing dictating what is right in the eyes of our lord and what is not. Free choice does not exist in these creatures, and for the strength of The Church we must realize this and move away trying to evangelize animals in pursuit of more fruitful endeavors.

Tarub laughs as he throws this big pile of propaganda into the lava chasm below the dwarven bridge, "Nuh wunder oren es suh backward, t'ey are powered by t'is bullshoite! An' t'en when ye need 'our 'elp yeh guh beggin' teh us an' sucken 'us off, ye duh teh focken same to teh wood elves, 'ow 'bout ye duh nae sen' ye pusseh knoights 'round our kin'tom w'en ye scared teh rebels 'll beat ye bastards!"

Shayne grins as he sits on top of the roofs of felsen, drawing a phallus all over the page, he then turns it into a paper airplane and sends it into the church building.

You do realize we have the teachings of the wandering wizard, right? Like, definitive teachings which say the four brothers are all the same species, just 'cursed' differently? I mean, the elves, orcs, humans, etc, can all interbreed and create viable offspring, and it's undoubtedly true that at some point in their distant ancestry every person claims at least partial descendence from all of these races, even if it is extremely dilute. Your argument is idiotic, says a halfling.

A young 'Ker shook her head once,
"Mm, Oren and its bullshit once again.." She drew out a cookie before placing it in her mouth

-=-

Ana allowed a loud chuckle to escape her lips, she shook her head several times as tears formed in her mouth; "Maybe if they had a brain.." She merely muttered as she sat on her bed

-=-

A young Human girl stared up at her mom with the paper in hand,

"Mama, but in the story did it not say there were four brothers?"

-=-

Chirr merely laughed, hugging a small Mali'ii,

"Only from Oren.."

"While I do appreciate being compared to a ravenous, mindless beast incapable of free will or conscience, I would prefer not to be. It is also incorrect, as there have been converts among us. It is merely unpopular. The faith is human-centric and paints us with insulting stereotypes, while raising murderers to sainthood."

Faiz Kharadeen would cock a brow at this thesis brought upon a canonist member "Pity upon those few of Canon, for they only follow in their selfish desires rather than submitting themselves to Allah. They know not of His will, they merely interpret it to their benefit."

Faiz would then set out writing a document, sending it forth openly for all to read.

"The belief that our GOD, who we call Allah in Qali and Creator in Common, had chosen the Human race as His chosen race is ignorant and false. You forget, that Allah gave us the four great prophets, not just one. Ibahm and Hawa gave birth to Malin, Krug, Urguan, and Horen, who then gave birth to the great four races of this realm. All races are loved before Allah's divine eyes, the problem with your church is the way you go about in attempts to convert those who are unwilling. Forceful conversion does not convert man. Violence does not convert man. Continuous thesis's does not convert man. Only your actions you bring upon others will show the true colors of your faith, but we have all seen the colors the Church of Canon brings to light.

Continue to believe that all races are inferior to the Humans. Continue to allow the realm know of the Church of Canon's true bigotry and ignorance. In time, we ALL will meet the merciful Creator within the Seven Skies. Elf, Human, Orc, Dwarf, Kha, and so forth. Those who are pure and true, and those that take the Creator to heart will be given a spot within the Seven Skies, it is known.

Subhan-allah[God is Great].

-Imam of the Rightly Guided Faith,

Faiz Kharadeen"

Britannus would read the paper, noting how it would be unsigned. As such, he would throw it away, as this paper would not be written unless made for the sole purpose of creating tension between the races, which is not the Church's goal.

Laughter would echo from the home of Yuglix'Lur

"OH! OH BI DAH ZPIREDZ!" The dark orc doubled over as he looked at the sheet of paper

The orc continued to chortle and giggle for the next hour before making a note to tell all his friends about this.

Petyr Redlock would look over the sheet of paper. "Funny 'ow seriousleh people take canonism. I''s the onleh religion da' doesn' worship a proven deiteh. Not teh mention dere WERE four brothers, and dev DO say da'."

Taynuel frowns, reading over the missive. His right ear gives a light twitch, shaking his head. "Implying at all that animals don't have the ability to choose. I'm offended," he grumbles, holding an arm out to allow a falcon to glide down from above and land. He brings the bird up, using his fingers to scratch at the back of its neck and preen the feathers it can't reach. "You don't lack a free will. You do things to continue your species, but nothing is forcing you to stick around anywhere or deliver letters for me. You do that of your own volition. I've never ordered you to do anything. I've asked you nicely, and if you haven't wanted to carry a scroll I've delivered the message myself," he states to the bird, holding his arm out again so it can fly off of its own free will.

"Leave it to the descendants to measure themselves by how much banter they can spread about their fellow descendants."

Dalari's eyes drift across the simple writings, her impassive expression betraying no emotion as her gaze falls upon the final period. She raises her shoulders in a faint shrug, speaking to herself in a distant bluntness as she plods away, "We're all animals."

A young Orenian elf speaks to himself after reading the thesis,

"Well, at least it's just a thesis from some uneducated fellow. I'm astounded so many people take such things as declarations of principle. Oren accepts all races, their faith is just a human faith."
