As Drynn makes his way onto the stage, he gazes out over the assembled crowd, nodding at several of his clans mates. Once he enters center stage, Drynn turns and grasps the podium rising up before him. Clearing his throat, he begins,

 

“Brothers, for too long has our society gone without a Grand Champion. The warrior of our race, the pinnacle of our strength as a people. As a former Grand Champion I know of the trials that must be shouldered by the strongest. At this time in our history, there is no shoulder for us to rely on in times that require great strength! We need and deserve a new Champion, a Grand Champion. I invite you all to pledge your names and arms to this great fight.

 

We will be determining this Grand Champion through single combat in just a few stone weeks, and wish for you all to being the registration process now. We would like to mention as well that only Dwarves are able to enter, and it is preferable that they are citizens of the Grand Kingdom. If you desire not to fight, or find yourself not of the glorious Dwed race, we offer the option for you to either take place in the bettering, or to run a betting booth within the arena stadium. For those who do participate however, the fights shall be performed using wooden sparring swords, and no other combat gear. The Honor of Grand Champion of Urguan and 4000 minas shall be bestowed upon the winner, while the second placed shall receive a sum of 1000 minas.

 

Now, my brothers and sisters, we shall open the registration windows to you.”
