To Heed a Prophecy

The old and decrepit Sage hobbles through the damp wooden flooring of the various overhangs within the Haria dock district. His paws frantically patting his entire body continuously as if to trying to flick or hit a bug off. True fact is, he was. Or not as would appear, he returns to Haria after being abducted by Shagarath the Motsham of the orcs and various others. Knocked unconscious he was taken to the orc jungle and after a short while he was cursed. There are no real bugs or critters crawling on him, but the curse ensures that it feels like such. His breathes obviously in annoyance of the sensation that plagues his body, small patches of fur missing from his scratching with his unkempt claws.

He hobbles and makes his way through the underpassages and back paths of the docks before finally reaching his temporary apartment. As he sat down to rest it appeared that he could not, the sensation kept him awake and prevented him from gaining any sleep. Instead his mind turns back to the time he met Ju’Ketzawl again for the first time in Axios. He took him to Haria and the stone obelisk that sits near its coast. They both chat about how these are almost certainly part of the painful prophecy they had witnessed. It had become imperative that all were found before the beast or entity that inflicted this pain and prevented the vision, were able to get its hands on them.

He descends out of the apartment with a small Va’Khajrian warhorn in hand before blowing hard into it, though still plagued by the curse of the Motsham. Soon enough a group of kharajyr formed at the base along with various other inhabitants of Haria. He addressed them.

“Kharajyr, anybody. Not too long ago our moongazers, including Mukar and the High Priest, experienced a prophecy gifted to us by our goddess. Though something was able to battle and conflict with our goddess in her own domain. This cause us great pain and shut us out from the vision for a tiny bit while a battle between the entities took place, a battle to maintain the vision. Metztli was able to succeed for but a moment and grant us images. We saw ten obelisks with each varying in colour but not in shape and then a key.

We believe these obelisks to be the key to great and unlimited power. The entity that battled to maintain the secrecy of such creations is believed to be after them or something similar. Who this entity is, is unknown. That is why it is imperative that we find all the locations of these obelisks so that we may find their origin and protect them from such entities that would wish to do us harm. Go Kharajyr, search and bring back knowledge for we must heed the prophecy by the goddess.”

*Mia Winterleaf would be in Haria at the time, and blink, making note of what was said.

"Ten.." Nemir muttered as she flipped through her journal, counting eight written locations of the obelisks.  She closed up her book and stuffed it away with a light huff, wandering off in search of the final two.
