The Enchantry

“Seek, Understand, Adapt.”

The Enchantry is a circle of mages who work together and unite in their studies to further themselves and magical development privately. They follow a simple code with a straight set of ambitions, to further their own knowledge of the arcane. The Enchantry also finds themselves seeking powerful artifacts of the arcane, taking interest to not only keep them out of the wrong hands but study them internally themselves. A private institution will always seek to enclose their knowledge, and seek only some of the more rounded mages to join their ranks.

 

 

 

Enchantry Hierarchy

Hierarchy within the enchantry is established to not only promote effort in one's study, but Seniority to those who have spent their time with the Enchantry, efforts should never be fruitless.

 

-First Enchanter-

The First Enchanter is the Guildmaster of the Enchantry, with full right and say.

-Enchanter-

An Enchanter is a scholar of the enclosed guild.

-Sorcerer-

The Sorcerer is a newer member of the Enchantry, recently auditioned and to be trialed.

I decided to try joining it because it would greatly benefit my research if i had some scholarly companions avaliable to advise me as i progressed in it,but also partly because I am interested in learning the way of the arcane to better understand it.

Why would you choose me,you ask? Well,personally,I see myself as a hardworking man when it comes to researching things and i do believe I have a knack in finding logical solutions to most problems.

I also have some past experience in exploring ancient ruins and decyphering/translating ancient texts.

            The Enchantry formally invites you to travel to our home and sit down with my self to discuss the possibility of having you perhaps join the halls with us here in the mountains, and study the arcane. Be sure to bring everything to help your case such as possible documents you may had written and your knowledge on every subject you know. I will be personally interviewing you, if you impress my self then we may come to terms.

In my many years serving the once-pure of Haelun'or I've been interested in the arcane arts, but have never had neither the time nor the teacher to properly learn. I have no experience, but I have a drive to excel in whichever task I ultimately choose. As a guard of Haelun'or I've encountered magic many times, and briefly considered learning it on my own before work swamped my efforts. At this juncture that swamp is drained, however, and I hope to learn the right way.

Lysio Hestonnis,

 

I write to you today to inform you that the best way to seek forth magic is to prod around locations that typical users of the arcane can be found, which includes around the Library of Dragur, Haria, the Highelven state, and even sutica if you can bear the degeneracy. Typically when it comes to seeking magic it's putting forth to show the effort and dedication. Here in the Enchantry we are home to a handful of mages, most mastered in the art of the Arcane Gift and typically we are either full with studentry as I am currently, or some of us are not able to teach at all. I feel as the best place to learn magic might not be the enchantry, though if you seek a place to practice and study when you do become adept at such then perhaps the Enchantry might be just the place for that.
