A letter is penned to the attention of the First Enchanter of The Enchantery

 

Recent findings have revealed that the previously released research notes undertaken over the course of three centuries, and receiving great financial benefit from The Arbiters of Grigario, into the arcanic characteristics of potatoes is entirely falsified. As was suggested in the vacuous hypothesis, while the eye within the common garden potato may observe all the hidden mysteries of the universe, it is categorically impossible that it “considers” them. And thus I must decry all further ramblings contained within the body of the article wherein consultation with potatoes is encouraged, and present my own findings that, with further funding, will prove to yield definitive results.

 

The radish is the true philosopher of the root vegetable world. It needs not eyes to see for the tip of its rooted tail extends farther than the eye can perceive, protruding deep into the belly of cosmic possibility. All that the radish’s singular tentacle has felt and pondered within its fragile existence reaches beyond that which mortal bodies have ever considered. What universal mysteries and wisdom may be uncovered upon completing this investigation into the hidden knowledge of the radish?

 

This research proposal would require sufficient funding for 12 to 137 years by a scientific or arcanic organisation. An invitation is extended to The Enchantry to partake in a share of the guaranteed bountiful findings for the reasonable cost of 200 mina per year for the foreseeable future or till research returns conclusive, whichever is the farther. Gold pouches may be sent to the below forwarding address.
