How long have you played on LotC?: Since October 27th 2014, so nearly two years.

 

Time zone and availability: GMT - Due to not having a job or education yet, I am free everyday for a good amount of hours. However, I will alert the team of my new schedule once I do get a job. I am very active on the server.

 

What subgenre (refer to LM specifications list) are you versed in most?: Clericalism (Tahariae). Aengudaemons. Alchemy. General lore (Plants and animals. Myths and legends, etc)

 

Give a summary of any staff positions you have held on LoTC: Lore Master, till purge just recently. I primarily focuses on clericalism, as well as creating myths and legends for the server.

 

Have you ever written lore for LoTC? (this will not augment your chances at obtaining the position of LM.):

Both before and during being a Lore master, I wrote a range of lore. Some lore includes a range of regional lore and place ideas for 5.0, as well as creature lore (kestrels - Need to update that) and a few more suggestions that got denied. I also have a range of projects in the planning stages before the purge happened, including some clerical lore and relic lore. Links for the Kestrel and other two lores are below.

Who do you not get along with on the Lore Team?: I get along with the other Lore Masters really, just coming up with ideas and such. I wouldn't say there's a specific person I hate or do not get along with.

actually doesn't seem to be that bad. i'm not a fan of getting the same LT back again but as long as your capable of being unbiased ( and of course, approving nephilim ) i don't see a reason you shouldn't get back on the team.

I really hate being bias or one sided. it's just not part of my personality. If anything, I try my best to keep neutral on things and focus on both sides, as well as the groups that a particular lore can affect. Also. I do understand your point of getting the same LT back.  (P.S: I actually liked the Nephilim lore, although I didn't have a say in voting due to sorting out a bunch of real life stuff).

After taking a few brief reads with her lore, I can say she is very very capable of writing lore. She knows how to write and how to think, her position as LT previously didn't really give anyone troubles.

 

Pretty sure she is right now the only one that is still going through Clerical lore and possibly trying to polish it.

 

Although I do want to see a lore that I can see that makes a big impact on the server from her (or accept, tbh I know nearly nothing on what LT do.)

 

But in most cases I don't really see any problems.

The point of the purge is to bring in new blood, but to also remove those with bias.

 

I can't stand behind an application that:

 

- Told a skype chat that they're going to 'enforce a rule' that isn't a rule to mess with me.

 

- Threw a fit because I didn't want to be part of their clique and tried to spIn it that they should be entitled to know what my character was doing

 

- Has leaked information to their group

 

-Etc.

 

 

 

In my opinion, Clericism needs an entire overhaul, from start to finish, from lore to RP ability, from spells to purpose. But this is for another post.

 

But due to my personal experiences with this person this isn't an app that I can stand behind for the change the team is looking for, the cleric group needs, or the server deserves as a whole.

Farryn is hard-working and motivated, and definitively one of the LMs that I think should be added back to the team. Also one of the quite active LMs, at least when it comes to being on the server.

 

She's worked hard with the clerics and many other things, she's possess an excellent ability to write good lore, whether it be for LoTC, or just for her spare time.

 

Growth, expansion and addition is what makes good lore, and I believe you are able to do so with the lore you write.

As someone that has watched the clerics and have stood in the background of this group, I can verify that all this and more took place and it would make me hesitant to have Farryn back on the team. We don't have a personal correspondence of any sort but as someone that has watched how they act towards others I would have to say no also unfortunately.

despite the suticans, who are almost always jerks and like to circle jerk each other, I have not really seen bias in Farryn, and enforcing a rule isn't bias... So anyway, I +1 this lt application, I think they understand lore well. Also address squirt once more- having somebody who was a good LT, re join is not a bad thing...
