The Three of Smoke

In all the realms of the Spirits, there is no power and no being more overwhelming than the deep need for worship, and despite the unimaginable variations of Apohet's realms, it is this driving force that calls upon the Spirits to act upon the mortal realm, and is what defines them all as one and the same.

It is this blind narcissism that fuels their influence, and in their first contact with the Mortal Realm, the endless cycle of recognition and power spirals down the well of time eternal.

On that day, the passion in Gentharuz' heart gleamed with a radiance unparalleled by the endless forges that lit his realm; and like fireflies dancing along the floor, a sea of amber swathed across the land with a rumbling heat. The earth cracked under molten streams as the Spirit of Forging set his sights upon the Mortal Realm. For it was the day in which the Ilzgûl Udalgum, or Spirit Connection, would be presented to the Shaman who had previously convened with him.

A small fire quickly grew within the cavern that Gijaak found himself in. He had been instructed on a guideline to follow, and had adhered to the task he had been set by the Spirit of Industry. The first Spirit Forge had been ignited, and from it would be birthed the tools of Gentharuz' will.

Amidst ash and smoke, the powers of the Spirits worked with unseen co-ordinance to achieve their goals, and when the overwhelming heat drew out the sweat and consciousness of the Shaman, the Three of Smoke were made, and Gijaak fell into darkness.

Wodanaz, Kezt and Rolfizh had answered the calls of Gentharuz, and had created their own masterpieces to serve as conduits for their power upon the mortal realm, but before the process could be completed, others were drawn to the energy, and in their deep resentment, sought to pervade their influence upon the creations.

What remained were three distinct items, each containing Minor Spirits that were at conflict with one another, waging eternal struggle in an attempt to channel their influence through these Relics.

The Three:

Skull of Wodanaz

A skull fashioned to resemble that of a Human's, it is forged out of a mixture of andesite and iron, and contains two, small gems within the sockets of the eyes. They shimmer with a brilliant blue radiance, and encaspulate all that set their sights upon them.

Originally, Wodanaz had sought to create an item that would allow the user to see through Arcane Illusions. This feat is still possible, with a roll above 10, up to a length of 10 blocks, and reveals illusions to all within the radius. However, Wodanaz' minor Spirits are not the only ones to house themselves within the Skull.

Ikuras saw this item as a chance to further influence the realm of Mortals, and meddled in its creation. While the user of this relic can detect Arcane Illusions, if they roll below 10, the drawback of use is that they will succumb to madenned whispers, and will begin to see things where things are not.

Heart of Kezt

A necklace with a crude ruby gemstone, this piece hands from a silver chain draped around the users neck.

Kezt, in his intrepid bravery, materalised his own influence into the gemstone, the focal point of the jewelry. When this item is worn, and if rolled above 10, it may invoke unwavering courage into the wearer, and those around them for 10 blocks. This allows those with the desire, to inspire revolution, or to explore where none would dare to venture.

However, Ramakhet took note of this aspiration, and in his attempt to balance his own influence on the world, brought forth his own powers into the Heart. If the user rolls below 10, the wearer will begin to feel as though all hope is lost, and will begin to feel isolated from even friends and family that embrace them.

Tooth of Rolfizh

A tiny, obsidian dagger, coated in a small, near-invisible aura of ashen smog.

This weapon, if used and rolled above 10, can blend with the skin of the user, allowing it to remain undetected against flesh if one were intent on hiding it from Guards or those that would wish to take it.

But Rolfizh is not the only Spirit to have influence over this weapon, as Glutros quickly took advantage of the open channel. If one were to roll below 10, one would find themselves overcome with the desire for blood, and would strike at those around them in an insatiable thirst.

OOC: It is my intention with these Relics to distribute them with the introduction of Ilzgûl Udalgum, so that they may serve as an item of conflict within the communities that possess them. I added a roll based system to allow for unpredictable results, which would reflect the inner-conflict of the Spirits contained within the Mortal Stones of each piece.

These are, for the most part RP based items, and will serve little in the way of providing exceptional power to those that should wish to use them.
