I want a region

Does anyone have any tips on how to become the owner of a region without paying any minas, without starting a guild or nation, and without having a required number of people to roleplay on the region?

 

I want to obtain my own region without paying minas, without having other people roleplay on the region, and I want to do whatever I feel like with the region. For example, if I wanted the region to just be a place where i can farm pumpkins, then I'd just make it a big pumpkin farm. If I wanted the region to be a place where I could have a house and build whatever else I want, then I'd do just that.

 

I want to own land without the possibility of it being taken away from me and I want the freedom to do whatever I want with it (of course without breaking server lore and without making floating islands or other things that RPly wouldn't make sense).

 

Athera was better than Vailor and Axios because it had Nexus Regions and it was easy to find other people.

Regions are only for nations or guilds for as far as I know. You need money, resources and manpower to aquire a region.

Are you part of a nation? Could just inquire from your nation leader IC. Or a major region leader.

 

But one-man regions are the bane of RP servers, because everyone would just build their own castle and there wouldn't be any RP in any of them.

I don't care much for RP, I only play for the Nexus Crafting/Professions.

Then join us magnificent nexus crafters and grinders. All you have to do is get a home in any settlement, dig down 30 blocks with ladders in a shaft, create a HUGE room and put up a sign saying "**** NEXUS PROFESSIONS, THIS IS MY OOC CRIB".

I feel like you're asking to be given a piece of untouchable land by the staff. You'd have to work for it - everyone does. Other than that you could perhaps get a house in a nation, or ask a current nation for land/fief- that'd probably be the easiest way to get some of your own space.

I agree with Wrynn, you would have to work for it in role play, not just asking for it on the forums. I would suggest becoming a well known player in LotC before you start asking around for land, so you could be trusted.

i'm asking for an untouchable piece of land from anyone, not specifically the staff ;)

i probably should ask a current nation for a land/fief, but i thought they were like 70x70 in size and cost 5k minas...

grinding professions is fun. i like making progress towards things. for me roleplaying is just... i don't know... there aren't really any goals that i want to achieve through roleplaying. i enjoy being part of communities, and for me TeamSpeak is the best medium for gaining experiences with others.

on World of Tanks i grinded xp on my tanks to complete missions, get higher tier tanks, and get credits(silver). i didn't care about winning or losing, nor did i care about how terrible i played. i preferred quantity over quality.

on Runescape i grinded my skills for the purpose of obtaining gold that i will never spend.

on Hearthstone i played only to do the quests and get gold to unlock parts of the solo adventure mode, i didn't care about the actual gameplay. the only times when i cared about winning was when i had a quest that needed me to win a certain about of matches and also when i did ranked play so that i can get a better chest at the end of the month.

on Neopets(the website, not one of the videogames) i played at the Battledome everyday for a few weeks to get codestones to sell for neopoints(NP)

on PokemonBattleArena(a website pokemon-based game) i captured rare pokemon specifically for the purpose of having more of it than other people and to sell for pokemoney
