MOBILIZATION IN THE WEST

 

In recent days the Holy Oren Empire has been seen to be mobilizing near the border between Haense and Urguan, prompting another conflict similar to the Azaghal Incident. Lord Regent Hogarth Irongut has denounced these acts of war and stressed the notion that Urguan will not disturb the peace nor bend the Oren's will. This comes after allegations that Snow Elven and Orcish refugees had been living in the Dwarven lands and Oren's demand they be expelled. Although no battles have erupted yet hostilities along the border seem to suggest that war is imminent.

 

MEETINGS IN KAL'NIKAER

 

Clan lords and government officials recently met and discussed expansions and redesigns of Kal'Nikaer as well as further expedition into the Deeproads. It seems that after this meeting the idea of moving into a Subterranean Nation has gained ground and expansion into the Deeproads seems to be the obvious move.

Additionally Grand Marshal Jorik Grandaxe held a meeting in which he addressed the nation and announced the increased defensive effort and preparation for invasion.

 

GRAND KING ELECTED

 

After a long meeting of the senate two candidates were nominated for Grand King, Algoda Frostbeard nominated by Velwyn Ireheart and Yavok Ireheart nominated by Fimlin Grandaxe. After each candidate said their speech and a brief debate the senators voted, and it came to a close win for Algoda Frostbeard who will become the new Grand King, the second of his clan.
