The Johannesburg gates rattle wild, the shouts of angered rebels drown out all other sounds in the streets and the dawn of a rebellion's birth seems soon at hand. The Imperial guards muster up their forces and attempt to quell the riots vigilantly, but they are soon overwhelmed. The underfunded soldiers are vastly outnumbered and their lack of experience is quickly uncloaked as the mass of rebels begin to prevail.

"THE IMPERIALS ARE TYRANTS, DOWN WITH THE EMPERO--" 'THEZTCH!'

 

The corpse quickly falls off the shoddily made podium at the gates and a silence crashes down upon the raging crowds. A sharp whistle pierces through the ears of many, the sound of steel unsheathing rips through the cold air. All of a sudden the screams of falling men curse the gatehouse. A crusading wall of orange-colored linked shields shove the rebelling crowds back running down any whom dare try to resist.

"IT'S THE FELSEN WATCH!" Cries out a woman in a thankful glee!

Blood paints the gatehouse red, the corpses of fallen rebels littering the stone bridge as the orange-adorned heroes secure the problem that was quickly de-escalating out of control.

The Imperials re-gather themselves: "Leave you mercenary scum!" "Oren hates you!" "Down with the Felsen Watch!" "We didn't need you!"

 

The men in orange frown, the ever-grateful people watch in disbelief as their saviors are swiftly booed into a retreat.

"We are the Watch." Mutters a grim mercenary as him and a dozen other men prepare to march off to the front, to fight and die on the side of Oren.
