The Draoi's Eternal Rest

Thalon, a withered and disgusting looking elf clothed in crimson vestments, alongside two other figures began to approach a lone and grand tree near the outskirts of the Mali’ame forest. Those he would be accompanied by were an ashen and wretched being, adorned in Thanium armor and the other a gleaming floating spectre with an oddly coastal look to him, appearing like he had come from the sea itself. A small group of Paleknights followed the trio as they continued forth across the flat landscape towards the specified tree. All of whom would come to stand in front of a golden and ornate coffin embellished with various designs and intricacies which adorned the golden cover laying against its metal base. Thalon’s sickly and bloodshot eyes would flash about the area, seemingly flat and barren. The necromancer’s gaze shifted about the eerie environment as a faint and subtle gust of wind ruffled the healthy and leaf covered branches above, causing the various limbs of the trees to sway in unison like that of waves crashing against the sand and his robes to flick and be pulled back against his unhealthy and decrepit figure. A small distance ahead of the sarcophagus would be a rather unusual hole with a lone dark, gleaming and slick-looking rock within it. Within the hollow rested a large dark being resembling that of a skeletal figure.

As usual in the deep cold, the wood elven lands bore no snow but the sheer windchill would be brutal to any mortal being. The only mortal one there at the time being Thalon. The withered man’s cheeks would be extremely pale holding little to no flush of pink within them. His figure was clenched to his robe in attempts to keep him warm as his sickly and tattoo covered digits wrapped about a dark and tainted wand. Shortly as the trio came to see the abomination within the hole Thalon would give his mentor and teacher an affirmative nod before the spectre’s eyes would move to the scene ahead, beckoning the Paleknights forth to combat the dark apparition. The battle ensued, many of the stone beings gaining chips within their armor and weapons at they fought. Thalon closely following behind the line of the constructs as his skin would begin to glow and appear to rot from his bones. The apparition then leaned over to attack a fallen Paleknight, and the Mali’ame’s hands would both clasp around the hilt of the wand, sending the sharpened tip upward into the skeletal frame of the being.

As the stab is landed, the apparition is quickly heaved into the sarcophagus. The golden lid would be placed on by the two figures who accompanied Thalon. Yet the coffin itself continued to rattle and shake as the apparition within continued its struggle to escape the confines it would be bound to. Thalon walked over to the sarcophagus, his eyes sunken and tired from the event, his gaze averting to the other Wight as his spectral hand outstretched and touched the coffin. A sleek substance which appears to be permeating about the coffin and about his spectral figurement. The phantom-like creature’s other hand would be extended towards the exhausted and fatigued Thalon and as the green-blue substance continued to pervade from the sarcophagus. Thalon’s feeble figure would begin to sway back and forth before he’d fall forward onto the coffin, rendered unconscious mumbling a few words “It is done, the end brings a new beginning.
