A Dragon's Last Breath

Julia Adelheid would read over the contents of the letter as tears welled up in her eyes. "I won't forget." she uttered in a somber tone as she folded the letter, placing it on the desk. As tears fell from her cheeks she would turn to Anna Sophia going to light the candle.

As she looked over the relics alongside Anna, she would remember her youngest boy in his happiest moments. She would reminisce about the first time she held him in her arms. She would think back to all the times he would come running to her shouting "Mama!" and the bright smile that would grace his features. Back to the days where he was carefree and life for him was simple. All Julia could do now is continue on for the sake of Philip and for the sake of her deceased husband and son, John Owyn and John Augustus. She would find peace knowing that her dearest son is now at peace and the three of them will be waiting to welcome her when her time comes.

Gijaak'Raguk crossed his arms as he looked upon the frozen remnants of the city.

"You do not pursue the Sons and Daughters of Krug." He said aloud, resting his back against a tree as he shook his head in silent contemplation.

Hogarth Irongut breathes in a large puff from his pipe as he sits peacefully in his Dwarven home. After years of combat his frail hands shake as he grasps his pipe from his lips. The old Dwarf exhales the smoke quickly, muttering to himself, "Foinalleh teh beast 'as been slain...Per'aps now ah can rest." he says. He closes his eyes and makes a prayer to the Brathmordakin before settling in to sleep.

Charlotte floundered away from Ostwick, isolating herself from the crowds. All esperance for reconciliation came to an end. She lamented her brother, immersing herself in desolation as she pined after her lost brother.
