The fact that Kowaman has posted something about soulbinding (and has shut the server down) this morning probably means some sort of contact with Mojang has happened to prompt it.

For legal reasons we are refraining from commenting on the issue until we are further in discussions. We're aware of a desire for clarification but for the time being we're remaining silent on the issue in order to assure a better discussion. We have received correspondence from Mojang however it was rather vague - we're as frustrated as the players are, and hope to see a resolution soon.
