Ever 2648 Share Posted February 12, 2017 I've given a lot of thought on what I wanted to say here but now that I sit down to officially type it... I think this is just one of those things where you gotta speak from the heart. Lord of the Craft has meant a lot to me. I've spent hundreds upon hundreds (maybe even a thousands!) of hours playing and moderating on the server. In one way or another, the server has been apart of my life for the past six years. Can you believe it's been that long?! It seems like just a few days ago I was eagerly logging in each day after school to fight undead, sell some ale, and diggy diggy holes. Six wholes years... I've met so many awesome people, many of whom I've been friends with for years now! It's crazy to think one little Minecraft server could do all this. I'd love to give a shout-out to everyone but jeez, it'd take forever... I should probably get to the point, shouldn't I? I'm stepping down from my administrator position and leaving the server. It pains me to say this, it really does. But real life is a knockin' and it's best I answer. On top of being a full time student, I'm also working full time and trying my best to juggle life, friends, and LoTC. It's been... difficult, to say the least. As much as I'd love to play and moderate on the server five or six hours a day, I just can't do it anymore. I've been neglecting my duties for far too long. I can't dedicate as much time to the server as this position requires. I can't be the administrator or moderator that the server deserves. Rather than holding my position with an iron fist, I'll let more dedicated and more eager folks take up the mantle. I'm sorry I couldn't do as much as I wanted but I hope that my actions have positively affected at least a few of you guys. I've been a moderator three times now because I've wanted to give back to the server. I put all that time, sweat, and tears into the server so that others could enjoy playing on LoTC as much as I did. Playing on Lord of the Craft has been some of the most fun I've ever had online. The relationships I've made, the people I've met, and the adventures I've had... as cheesy as it is to say, I'll never forget them. It's been a long and wild ride but if I had to make a choice, I'd do it all again. Thank you, guys, for letting me give back. Have fun and be nice to each other, I'll see ya around.
