Gender vs Gender Roles

Please point to me what chromosomes are required for you to be transgender, and how that is different from that of a male or a female, because it isn't. You are quite literally, male or female, transgender is short for transitioning gender and you are transitioning from male to female or female to male. What other genders exist? Because if it isn't binary, then do tell what third, fourth or even fifth gender you believe exists.

One can be masculine without being male, and one can be feminine without being female, what constitutes either changes on the culture.

You can't abolish gender (its a construct of society and language), but you can stop thinking either is limited to their affiliated roles.

Afterall, I couldn't survive on this dear planet without my fantastic femboys!

if a trans man never becomes a man, then his dysphoria is not real and he is using the trans community to be a snowflake, and that actually hurts the serious community of trans people so much more than any "cishet" may ever do.

Gender is not a spectrum, subjective personal behaviour is. If you want to have your own labels go ahead, but you can't "identify" as something that doesn't exist. Else the "I identify as an attack helicopter" logic is not only right, but proves a dangerous precedent for what passes as delusion and what is truly an issue for some people.

If I identify as a teapot, will you take away my human rights even if I'm demanding of it? If I identify as a murder victim, does that give murderer free-charge to kill me?

Gender is a part of personal identity, so it can be whatever you identify. No limit to amount of genders. But not my interest in this thread, so that'll be my last reply my dude

Yes, of course, but I don't think this really deals with my question, y'know? Like, that doesn't touch the contradiction between transgender and abolishing gender roles.

I personally feel transgender issue has more to deal with orientation and the pursuit of happiness than it does gender roles, yes that may not make much sense but uhm.

After all, a lot of it has to deal with someone's psyche and being comfortable in their own flesh.

You're simply not going to abolish the idea of gender roles, they may dissipate or homogenize however.

But I really don't see how that would affect the roles themselves, all it really affects is the individual and the perception from others.

Because if a Man transitions to being a woman and decides undertake feminine things like opening a boutique. Its not a man doing girly things, its a women who was formally a man doing things that she feels is feminizing.

Of course, that is if you believe that the whole transgender identity thing is legitimate.

Being non-binary however...its in awkward spot since a lot of language and ideas revolve around there being two spectrums to flotate between.

I have no real comment on them though.
