Clash of The Spirits

 

A great flash of lightning shot through the air, and with the crack that came was the portal. Ripping apart the sky, purple mist flowed out and with it spirits and ghosts. As the portal began to shut, a large spirit in that of an eye floated out. Eyes sprouted from all sides of the creature, each peered in different directions until with a contraction and a pulse, each eye shot outward into the sky and ground. The eyes, landed into sand, and with the veracity of a druidic enhanced seedling, each sprouted a spirit or remained dormant. In a burst of purple mist, a tall figure walked out, its figure lean and tall. In words of dread he spoke, “Be scared children of Krugmar. My brothers and sisters have returned, some to foolishly help, others to quickly destroy you.” The spirit treading back into the mist, his name echoing into the minds of shamans as ‘Torkan, Spirit of Dominion.’ Two sprouted instantly; Siruhk, the Spirit of Fire and Yerkath, The Slime Spirit. Siruhk quickly erupted the orcish lands with fire and meteors, killing several and maiming more. Uruks quickly washed water onto the lands to quench the fire, but its blaze consumed more, until it shot mass of itself toward the responders, downing more uruks. In response, the uruks under the leadership of a Wargoth, attacked Siruhk in a weakened state. Forming slowly from the ground, Yerkath felt the dead and dying, seeking to claim their bodies into his mass, pulled forth and sent globs of himself toward the bodies. Siruhk’s flaming apparition disbanded as the Spirit of Slime continued to absorb the bodies. In a turn around, the uruks banished Yerkath back into the sand as the spirit could not gather its strength for the time.
